I’ve never been able to purchase a vehicle locally. I’ve lived in Jacksonville my entire life and have never purchased closer than 100 miles to Jacksonville. That changed this past week. From day one Kia of Jacksonville has tried to be dishonest with me. They added a 1,500 dollar mag warrenty, which I made them redo the paper work and remove it. Then everytime I carried my car in fo dishonest with me. They added a 1,500 dollar mag warrenty, which I made them redo the paper work and remove it. Then everytime I carried my car in for service they messed up something. The last time it was brought it in for an oil change the next day I checked my oil it ws 2 quarts low. I called the dealship and spoke to Kenneth at the service department and he said I must not be checking it correctly. He was very condescending and rude.Went to the parts store and bought 2 quarts of oil and put it in. After driving the car about 70 miles I checked it again and it was dry. I called Kia Roadside and they towed it to the dealership. I called and they said they would check it out, but I would have to pay for it. The car had gone through 5 quarts in 169 miles after the oil change. I went off and told them they would fix the car and I was not paying for anything. They finally admitted the oil filter housing was put together wrong causing the leak. I do not know if they kept doing this on purpose or are they incompetent. When I picked up the car they did not have the integrity to face me and hid in their offices like frightened animals which they are. They had a very sweet lady to do their dirty work, but to scare me they had a big dude near me that I had never seen before.I was very polite, but told them this drama could have been avoided if they had listen when I called them and told them it was 2 quarts low. So no I would not recommend this dealership for anything. I love my Kia, but the dealerships are trash! More
The service representative Kenny is very rude and does not follow up as he said he would for additional service to my car. It has been almost 2 weeks and 2 phone messages and still have not heard back f not follow up as he said he would for additional service to my car. It has been almost 2 weeks and 2 phone messages and still have not heard back from him. He told me to call the warranty company myself to get answers. I have NEVER been asked to handle my own warranty work by other dealerships. When I asked to speak to someone else he told me to hold and then hung up the phone. More
