I first met Clarke when I stopped by Jackson Acura on a whim one day. My intent was to start looking for a new/different car as mine was 9 years old and it was just time. Clarke immediately came to help me but not in a pushy way, just was curious what he could do to help. I was up front that I was starting to look - just starting - had owned an Acura in college and liked the brand. I told him I was probably 6-12 months away from purchase. At most dealerships, the sales person would have blown me off like a hot potato. First, my initial price point was not very high and secondly, I was not planning to make a quick decision. Clarke encouraged me to look around, talked to me about what I wanted and was just generally a very likable and helpful guy. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time, never made me feel like he had other/better things to do. I stopped by a few times over the course of maybe a month. During that time, I visited several dealerships around town. I drove other cars at two different dealerships in Roswell (one a well known dealership and luxury brand). Hands down, my experience with Jackson Acura and Clarke were superior to the other dealerships in every respect. Clarke was never pushy and I always felt he was honest with me. He followed up when he said he would, which was really refreshing. He offered to let me take the car home for a "real" test drive in my everyday life. He made that offer on the first car I found on his lot that I liked and I refused..that car sold the next day so the second time he offered, I took him up on it! As it came time to purchase the car, Mike got involved and we negotiated the price. Mike was professional and I think quite fair. Most importantly to me, particularly as a woman doing this solo as my husband stayed home with our son, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I felt both Mike and Clarke were being honest every step of the way. I actually have been trying to figure out how to write the owner of Jackson Acura to share my experience but hopefully he will read it here. I ended up purchasing a 2013 RDX with Tech Package and I love it. Great car, luxurious, comfortable...everything and more than I could want or need. As mom to a toddler and two dogs, this car is perfect - small enough to maneuver and feel sporty but big enough for a family road trip. This is a long review so if I could summarize my experience, I'd say I felt they were honest and treated me respectfully and fairly. Personally, I do not think there is much more you can ask for when going through the arduous process of buying a car. I would recommend Jackson Acura without hesitation. If you go, ask for Clarke McDaniel to help you find your next car. More
We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on 7/05/13 and our experience was very good. We had given up and was moving on when Clarke suggested we look at a Nissan Murrano that he been traded-in a few days earlier. The vehicle was in great condition and had all of the features you could want and still a luxurious feel. My wife loved it and it was within our price range so we moved forward with the purchase. Really great experience at this dealer. Although I couldn't afford one of their Acura's, they treated us like any other customer and found a less expensive vehicle that met our needs. I was a new customer looking for a Certified Pre-Owned Acura 2013 RDX or MDX model. I had specific goals concerning color and packages/options. The dealership was exceptionally clean and fresh throughout, including service areas. The Salesmen were Jake Mielkey in Used Cars and Patrick McPherson from the New Car side. The couple of vehicles that met my criteria were clean and detailed. The two day negotiations were fair and friendly. I settled on a delicious 2013 white Acura RDX /w Tech Package that had 2025 miles on it. The closing was quick and non-pressured. The checklists were pre-finished during my closing. A familiarization of the vehicles and controls was provided by Jake Mailkey who was friendly and businesslike, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. Jake Mielkey answered followup questions and retuned my calls with the answers almost immmediately. Overall, I score this dealership and salesman as exceptional. Thank you Jake and Patrick. LwR More
My Sister was Looking at a New Acura and went to test drive with my Daughter. I was walking back from the Bathroom and I clearly heard Reza the Manager spewing comments about them. As a Parent of I was absolutely appalled at the comments made by Reza the Sales Manger. I was sicked by him as a person and the Dealership for having some one like that around. I went in to look at a used MDX and Arthur greeted me right away. There was no pressure and showed me exactly what I wanted. Since the MDX was just brought in from trade I still purchased as is. Paul Silverman is the best salesman hands down! Although Jackson Acura was not listed as a participant in the USAA car buying program, they actually quoted me a price below the price I was given from other dealerships that are in the program! On May 18th the 2012 Honda CRV my husband and I were driving was in a bad accident (a roll over) and was totaled. I wanted a car that had the safety of the CRV but emotionaly did not feel comfortable g driving was in a bad accident (a roll over) and was totaled. I wanted a car that had the safety of the CRV but emotionaly did not feel comfortable getting in a car that reminded me of the accident. I knew the Acura would be as good if not better than the Honda, but look and feel different. I also needed very comfort seats for my injured back. We also own a 2007 CRV so this was our first time at an Acura dealership. I was pleasently surprised by the appearance of the show room, and I did not feel pounced upon by sales people. We were given time to look about at our leaisure, but were ingored. Patrick McPherson introduced himself and offered to answer any and all questions. We were offered refreshments and made to feel comfortable. The professionalism of Mr McPherson and the comfortable seats in the RDX closed the deal for me, and my husband liked the car. More
