They changed the oil in my Honda CRV before I purchased it and they forgot to put the cap back on the oil and the oil ran out. They failed to put this on the Carfax that the car ran without oil. More

Lori, we were sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your vehicle selection and purchase, and were more than happy to rewind the deal for you since it didn't meet with your expectations. We are not sure, however, why you feel that the vehicle ran out of oil and 'ran without oil' prior to your purchase. We can assure you that the vehicle remained at the appropriate level of oil during its stay with us, and the vehicle passed all inspections prior to you taking delivery. While in our possession, the vehicle was not driven for a length of time or distance to run out of oil. CarFax receives its information from various sources, including certified service records from dealerships, including us. Those records are legal documents and cannot be altered to hide issues. We did see when you returned the vehicle that the oil level was a little low. We did an inspection and found that the vehicle still had sufficient oil in it, and was performing normally, with no damage or ill effects. There was no evidence that the vehicle ran without oil at any time. We encourage you to reach out to us directly for further information if you need it. It allows us to ease your concerns quicker! We wish you a blessed day!
