As we were not able to duplicate the issue you were having, Porsche recommended a software update for your vehicle. That update initiated a communication error with your control unit and we thought it was best to replace it. We did communicate that the part was on backorder and immediately installed it upon its arrival. We apologize for the delay due to the part availability. We are glad however that your vehicle is functioning as it should now! We thank you for your patience and we hope to see you for your regular maintenance in the future!

I am not happy with my experience now. Saturday night I had a blowout on I44 at 10pm. When we bought the car I was under the impression that our tires were the ones that enabled you to drive after having a flat. We are older and that sounded like a good idea. We were misled. I am now having to buy a new one. We paid cash for our car. I did not purchase the extended warranty. Naturally I realize you are there to take money. It will be hard for me to trust the dealership. My response would certainly not be the same. If my friends are interested I would tell them of my experience.

Even with run-flat tires, there are some instances where you should not continue to drive on them. This sounds like one of them.
