Jackie Cooper BMW has been my go to dealership for extended warranty purchases for 12 years now. The best coverage at a GREAT price. Oh, and I don’t own a BMW, My warranties are on Ford F-150 and Ford extended warranty purchases for 12 years now. The best coverage at a GREAT price. I had a terrible experience with Jackie Cooper BMW. I purchased this vehicle on a Saturday and drove 3 hours North of my home in Dallas to look at an X5. Upon arrival this vehicle was scratched all over. purchased this vehicle on a Saturday and drove 3 hours North of my home in Dallas to look at an X5. Upon arrival this vehicle was scratched all over. Instead I located the 2017 X4 that was a lease return and was originally sold at Jackie Cooper. Their hours state they are open till 7. I determined to purchase the vehicle around 5:30 but had to wait in line for F&I. The vehicle had spots and dust all over it which the salesperson stated were water spots. The dealership made no effort to clean the vehicle while I waited. The following day after I got home I took the vehicle to wash and clean it. The spots would not wash off. In addition the paint was rubbing off the wheels. I was crushed as the vehicle I traded was immaculate. I contacted the dealership Monday morning furious. They advised to have the vehicle detailed. I had hoped the wheels would be covered under warranty. I took the vehicle to Classic BMW to have it detailed and have the wheels inspected for the warranty. They advised the wheels had been poorly repainted and therefore not covered under warranty. I questioned Jackie Cooper’s salesperson about the wheels and she would not respond. I paid to have the vehicle detailed and have the wheels painted correctly. Then submitted the invoice to Jackie Cooper. They paid for the detail but did not even include the tax. Just a terrible experience and I wish I had my old vehicle back! More

The salesman misled me regarding the specs of the vehicle stating it was the same as the vehicle I had initially shown interest in. I had already agreed to the deal therefore I didn’t want to appear difficult but if you don’t know ask someone who does. I took my vehicle to the dealership for service and they wrote the repair order on the wrong vehicle, a vehicle I no longer have. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for a scheduled oil change and after 3 hours waiting, I was informed the technician failed to change the oil. After waiting another hour the vehicle was returned with the low tire pressure light activated and license plates thrown onto the seat, an issue I previously addressed with the dealership. The salesman advised me that I was supposed to receive a loaner after I had waited 4 hours. It would really be nice if a dealership sincerely cared about the customer but apparently that’s expecting too much. You want great reviews but you can’t even apologize to the customer for unnecessary inconvenience. More
