I initially gave Jackie Cooper a five-star rating for what I thought was excellent service. After having several issues post purchase I have to change my review to reflect the actual occurrences that hap what I thought was excellent service. After having several issues post purchase I have to change my review to reflect the actual occurrences that happened. For starters the salesman lied to me, I specifically asked if the car had adaptive cruise control and he said yes and that BMW actually invented it, so naturally I bought the car with the premise that it had the features I was looking for. Secondly, after purchasing my vehicle I found a severely damaged and cracked wheel, a brand new tire that had been gouged beyond repair, the rear window auto shade was disconnected from the metal rod which when used sent it right up against the glass, and the plastic protector under the engine had practically been torn off. When I notified Jackie Cooper of these issues I was actually shown pictures of the intake inspection which showed a severely damaged wheel yet they put the car out for sale anyway. The vehicle was then placed into the service department to have all of these issues repaired. I purchased a tire and wheel warranty to protect me after my purchase to ensure I didn't have any major out of pocket expenses. When I discovered that my insurance company actually covered this exact same stuff I submitted a request to cancel this warranty. Much to my surprise I discovered that Jackie Cooper had used the warranty to repair the wheel and tire that was damaged prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I contacted the warranty company about cancelling my warranty and was advised that I had very little money would to be returned because Jackie Cooper used the warranty to replace the wheel and tire. The representative told me what Jackie Cooper did was fraudulent since the warranty was purchased after the vehicle was damaged. So when I finally received my refund from the warranty it was less than a third of what I paid for it and it was canceled within the 60 days that guaranteed me a full refund. It took me having to hire an attorney to get my money back from Jackie Cooper, and the funny part is the CFO admitted in writing that what happened was wrong and handled poorly. I'm very disappointed in this dealership and I will never purchase another vehicle from them again. I will drive to Dallas to buy another BMW, the only purpose Jackie Cooper will serve me from this point forward will be to do the service that will be covered under my warranty. Jackie Cooper BMW you should be ashamed of yourself for treating a customer this way, we should be treated much better than the way you have treated me. Now we have an update on the service department. I want to say my advisor is absolutely amazing and very helpful. My complaint lies with the shop employees. I brought car in 3 times for a strong coolant smell. First time the tech looked around while he filmed himself doing it and said there was issue. The second time the tech actually pressure tested the system and said the coolant cap was bad so it was replaced, however the technician didn't check the pressure again because if he had he would have seen there was still a pressure loss. The 3rd time I took it in I had taken it to a friend that runs a very reputable shop. He immediately found by taking the underside plastic splash guard off it and the radiator was covered in dried coolant, he also discovered all sorts of debris wrapped around the radiators. Immediately following this I went to the dealership and showed the advisor the pictures and was ensured it would be fixed this time. After a week it was finally ready for pick up. Later that evening I went out at night and immediately noticed my laser headlights weren't working, iean come on really what kind of people do you hire. More
