There are a few things this dealer has done right, their upfront pricing, no dealer fees, simple paperwork and an amazing online experience. That’s about where the differences end. The team is the same as every other car dealership. They assume you are an idiot and know nothing about the car, financing etc, - they get frustrated when you decline their warranties, they consistently have a condescending tone throughout the entire interaction, and their team leader refuses to be in the real world and tries so incredibly hard to “kill them with kindness” it comes off as insulting. They read from scripts that the loose touch with their clientele and ultimately end up costing them money. Their team leader should spend more time leading and coaching his team on how to earn trust and build a relationships with their clients rather than chatting with 4-5 sales associates about nonsensical drama that happened at the store. There are so few dealerships who actually do the above and I’ll tell you, they are ALWAYS busy and people with a good experience will tell ten people, people with a bad experience will tell every person they know. Also, when people buy a lexus, a cheap, reusable JM Lexus Bag with 2 bottles of water as a thank you for spending $60k+ is insulting. JM Lexus, you can be better, you should do better. Get some real leadership in there and your team and your customers would feel it. More
