Our side Customers car never broke down with an engine issue. 30 days out of our required 60 day warranty they had a sensor problem. We scheduled it in and did the repair at no cost to them the same day. Now 4 months later, 60 days out of our 60 day required warranty customer called with a brake concern. We had her come in immediately. Diagnosed the problem. Ordered the part. Planned on doing a next day repair. That easy Customer asked for a rental. We never told her she would get one. Her Extended warranty, which we do not control does cover a rental if repair exceeds 8 hours labor time. This repair did not. When she was told , she chose to immediately leave a very undeserved review against us, the people just trying to help her. We made room in our schedule immediately for her. Would of had her on the road the next day. But she completely and unreasonably bashed us online. This is not her review she originally posted.. this one sounds nice. We do feel the customer is always right, but in this case she is just not. We never made all the snide remarks. We did unfortunately choose not to keep her as a customer. All this over a $30 rental we never offered and her contract with an outside company did not cover. Here at J&M we value every customer and realize we are nothing without them. We work very hard and go above and beyond on a daily basis.

I do understand that the state of Connecticut only requires a dealership to give a 60 day warranty, but as i stated above immediately at the time of purchase i also purchased an extended warranty for 4yrs/100,000 miles, I've only had the car 4 months and it only has 36,000 miles on it, so I dont understand why its being said that when i brought in my vehicle it was out of the warranty period. I am not close to the 4years or 100,000 miles. I did call in because my check engine light was on, honestly I'm not sure if the light itself is considered a sensor and thats why it's being referenced as a "sensor problem". It turned out that both the intake and exhaust camshaft actuator solenoid valves had to be replaced and they also said they had to change my oil because they replaced the valves. I have tried multiple ways to google these parts, and no where have i seen them called sensors. I was charged 191.74. Again, i understand that $100 is the deductible on my warranty, but the other 91.74 i suppose was for the oil change, since thats not covered by the warranty. If this website would allow pictures i would post my detailed receipt up for all to see. Along with the pictures i have of my original post on the dealership website and the owners reply back. I would suggest that whoever reads this go on the dealership website and read my post for themselves, only when i suggested that to some friends and family members, they couldn't find my post on the dealership website. Although they failed to mention in this reply, that the reason they made time for me immediately was because they considered a problem with the brakes to be a safety issue, they do admit to not fixing my car and sending me away in my unsafe, unfixed car. It's also not mentioned that I was advised to drop my car off at night and put my keys in the dropbox. The first phone call came at 4:55pm the following day, 5 minutes before they closed, and that's when I was informed that they needed to keep my car for an additional day, and order parts and I dont qualify for a loaner car. The next phone call was at 12:45pm the following day, and that was when the mechanic told me, as stated above, that the parts were not there yet and if I removed my post he would fix my car for free. And again if I could post pictures I would post up my call log from my cellphone to show they had my car for the better part of 2 days, before they "chose not to keep me as a customer"
