Very Pleased I was in the market for a new car and happened to stumble upon Subarus at the NY Auto Show . After a little research I realized this may be what I w I was in the market for a new car and happened to stumble upon Subarus at the NY Auto Show . After a little research I realized this may be what I was looking for and narrowed my search to two dealers. I decided on Island Subaru because they are on Staten Island, they have a larger inventory the salespeople were wonderful. I simply walked in several times to look, ask questions and each time I felt no pressure to buy nor did I feel like I was being a nuisance. When I did finally decide to buy the vehicle (and again) walked in my salesman Ramon (whom I had spoken to before) was leaving but he recommended me to his associate Andrew. Andrew took time to show me a similar vehicle to the one I was interested, talked me through all the options, explained the slight differences between this vehicle and the one I was interested in and made arrangements for it to be onsight the next day. Ramon called and made an appt with me for two days later, test drove the vehicle with me, talked me through all the options and features, and dedicated his entire time to the sale of the vehicle as well as the trade in. I was very impressed with the Subaru staff, would (and have) recommend them to family and friends. My only complaint is parking is difficult in the area but the staff are so accommodating to you and will work with you with parking as well. More

First lease/purchase of a Subaru Started looking for a new lease in July 2018. Went to various dealers and brands in the NJ/NY area. Went into Island Subaru and met Ramon Benavides. I Started looking for a new lease in July 2018. Went to various dealers and brands in the NJ/NY area. Went into Island Subaru and met Ramon Benavides. I told Ramon basically what I was looking for and mentioned I was doing the legwork for my wife. He was very polite & understood that this would not be a quick process. Fast forward to Sep. 24, 2018 and I drove out with a Subaru Legacy Premium sedan. Ramon was great to work with. He is knowledgeable about the product and explained all the aspects of the car to my satisfaction. He has been a pleasure to work with. Sam & Candace from the finance area of the dealership made that end of my lease purchase quick & painless. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Subaru in the Staten Island area to walk in here, and make sure to ask for "Ramon". More
