Currently in our household we own five Toyota's. Over the years I have owned 14 different Toyota models going back to my first which was a 1971 Land Cruiser. I do a lot fo driving and need to be able to depend on my vehicles. After going to many delerships I moved to Hyannis Toyota because of the customer that is second to none provided by Judy Johnson and her staff. Judy makes me feel like a member of the Toyota family and not just another number coming through the door. Her no nonsense approach to explaining what I need and what she and her staff recommnend keeps me rolling along without worry. I see this we all of the customers who are handled by the staff at Hyannis Toyota. I would highly recommend this dealership for top notch auto care. More
The service is always wonderful. They are able to diagnose problems that other places have trouble with; and they are able to correct said problems without difficulty, at reasonable prices. I also a diagnose problems that other places have trouble with; and they are able to correct said problems without difficulty, at reasonable prices. I also apreciate the follow up calls about the quality of service that I recieved. In addition, they keep me informed about issues that may arise, so that I am not surprised by anything unexpected. they are always friendly, and polite. More
The dealership exceeds expections each time I enter both the Sales and Service Departments. Hyannis Toyota is an excellent dealership. The service is great, the staff is professional and caring, and the facility can't be beat - lounge chairs, internet cafe, children's play area, AND coffee and good great, the staff is professional and caring, and the facility can't be beat - lounge chairs, internet cafe, children's play area, AND coffee and goodies. As a woman, they treat us with courtesy and respect unlike other dealerships who are quite condescending when a woman goes in alone to get her car serviced. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. It is fantastic!! More
My wife had a flattire on her 2010 Prius. She drove in to get a new tire. Was told she had to replace it with the exact same tire or would "void her warranty" was not given any other options and they cou to get a new tire. Was told she had to replace it with the exact same tire or would "void her warranty" was not given any other options and they could not have the tire there for another 5 days but they would give her a good rate on a rental. She drove the car home on the spare/doughnut tire and we called a few tire stores and finally Falmouth Toyota. Falmouth explained we could replace 2 of the tires and since the tires were rated for 50,000 miles and she had 36,000 miles on the car, it would be a good idea. Voiding the warranty doing this was not an issue. So we drove the car to Falmouth Toyota and dropped off the car for them to do the tires the next day (Saturday) and have the car back to us that afternoon without a lose of five days and no rental needed. Surprise, received a call from Taylor at Falmouth that although the hub cap was in the back of the car, the tire wasnt. When I called I was told the tire was still at Hyannis Toyota and they went further to say "The tech explained to your wife the tire was being left there"..yeah but the hub cap was put back in the car.. Needless to say we demanded the tire be taken to Falmouth, which they did and I dont think we will be going back to Hyannis Toyota or recomedning them to anyone. Oh and I traded in my car and purchased a new car from Falmouth Toyota the same day we picked up my wife's car with the new tires. More
I am very pleased with the new vehicle, however the sales experience was intimidating and high pressure. It was the end on the month,so the heat was on the sales team. I refused to fill out the Toyota's buye experience was intimidating and high pressure. It was the end on the month,so the heat was on the sales team. I refused to fill out the Toyota's buyers survey, why should I help them improve? As my mother says.,"if you cannot say anthing nice, don't say anything at all". Car dealers never change. I would recommend the vehicle, but NOT the dealership. Phred More
Brought my Tacoma in for a 30,000 mile check. They underquoted the price of the service, but gave me 100 dollars off becuase it was their mistake and stayed right at the quote. Part of the service underquoted the price of the service, but gave me 100 dollars off becuase it was their mistake and stayed right at the quote. Part of the service is replacement of the wipers. Mine were brand new. They replaced them...but put the 'old' ones on my front seat so I could use them again. Free car wash. Free ride to anywhere on the lower cape (including my office in Hyannis!) I was expecting a nightmare, but they were very nice and I was happy. More
The staff was rude and didn't present the problem with the car in a clear and concise manner. The repair dept. did work that wasn't necessary. Did not offer the same discount in person as on the phone. Senior (10%)& free car if bill over $xxx. Claimed I needed more work than necessary..tune up & new tires. Their estimate $2,600.00. I purchased a 04 Lexus RX330 on Presidents Day weekend in 2008. The sales person and manager noticed with me the rattle and said their would be no problem fixing it. But when it came to the service depart 2008. The sales person and manager noticed with me the rattle and said their would be no problem fixing it. But when it came to the service department they said they didn't fix rattles. I eventually took it to Falmouth Toyota which fixed it without charge (a much better dealer). But the main problem was that they sent me home with the car uninsured. They said it was, but my insurance agent later said it had not been. The pressure to buy was excessive. They hid my trade and kept me at the dealership over 5 hours. I like the car and have had great service at Falmouth Toyota, but will never go back to Hyannis. I can't even listen to a radio station when their ads come on. Take note local radio stations. I'm probably not the only one. More
