No problems with sales. Brought 2021 Toyota Rav4 for slow leak in R/R tire. They told us there was a nail in the shoulder of the tire and it couldn't be repaired. Vehicle has 7,000 miles. Asked for "non-repairable" tire and took a close look at it. There was a nail in the tread area - NOT the shoulder, at all. I spent 30+ years in the tire and automotive repair field, most of it as an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician. I feel we've been ripped off. Not at all satisfied. More
Standard service took a normal amount of time, but I had to wait another hour to check out! First and last time using this dealership, the people who work there besides a few come across like they can’t be to wait another hour to check out! Can’t give less than 1 star unfortunately. Without going into detail my experience with the service department was the worst I've experienced in my 47 yrs of driving. I leased a RAV 4 from this location about three years ago. Before I took possession of the car, I realized my insurance covered a policy they tried to sell me. Before signing I told them I was no longer ago. Before I took possession of the car, I realized my insurance covered a policy they tried to sell me. Before signing I told them I was no longer interested. At that time I was told the only thing I could do was wait until the end of my lease and the money I paid would be taken off. When I decided to purchase, and had paid 100 percent of what Toyota Financing wanted. No money was subtracted from what I owed. I called about this problem, and called, and called, and called. I worked on this for the entire summer. Finally I was given an appointment with Tim Finney (Fenney). He was quite rude to me. He did not help with returning my money. So I wrote on Yelp about this problem. Dennis Lopes from Ira Toyota responded. I called him right away. He listened and told me he'd call back soon. After a week I called him again and left a message. No response yet. How long do they intend on keeping my money? If it was me who owed them money, they would demand it back with interest! More
Took our 4 runner there with an electrical problem. Spent one thousand dollars diagnosing and attempting to address the problem. They even had me order a part they couldn’t find because it had been discontin one thousand dollars diagnosing and attempting to address the problem. I took the truck to Ted’s Automotive in Marstons Mills. They identified the issue and completely repaired the truck for 270 dollars. I do not recommend anyone going to Ira Toyota for vehicle service. I purchased a used VW for my son from Ira Toyota in Hyannis and highly recommend them. Everyone from the sales person to the service manager was extremely professional and easy to work with. There was no high pressure sales, just honest, straightforward pricing and great customer service. The car has an aftermarket air intake, which the kids love, but it made a funny noise during my test drive. I told the sales rep Jim, he drove the car with me until we heard the noise, he then drove the car with the service manager so he could hear it. He was sure it was the air intake, but offered to run it by the local VW service manager who he has a relationship with. Everything checked out and I agreed to purchase the car. We had to wait a week for the title to complete the purchase. I live about 90 minutes away from the dealership and was going to have to make two trips to sign the papers and pick up the car the next day. The sales manager offered to have the car delivered the day after I signed the paperwork. That’s 90 minutes away to deliver a used VW from a Toyota dealership. I was shocked, but grateful. The car was delivered and my son loves it. The entire team at Ira Toyota really went above and beyond. If they will treat a customer buying a used, off brand car this well, then anyone shopping for a Toyota should be in very good hands. More
My car had a flat tire and it was towed to Ira Toyota service for a tire replacement. It took 2 days to replace a tire and when I was picking up the car, I noticed that my mirror was damaged. I pointed i service for a tire replacement. It took 2 days to replace a tire and when I was picking up the car, I noticed that my mirror was damaged. I pointed it out to the customer representative Paulo who took the photos and assured me that he would get back to me ASAP. 2 days later when driving on a highway I noticed that my car was badly vibrating on the back. I went back to the service and asked it to be checked. Again it could not happen on the same day. But only next. i was told that this diagnostic would cost $159 but they would be nice enough to do it for free! What!? I was also told that the tire cannot cause a vibration. I also inquired about a mirror damage earlier but received no comprehensive response. After my car was looked at several days later I was told that all my other 3 tires now need to be changed because they did not match a new tire! No tire shaving was offered. Of course if I were to choose to replace some other tires I needed to wait another 4 days! My tires were : new-11, opposite - 8 and front tires -6. I was told it was not a problem and it will be a safe a good drive in future :( . Toyota center also told me that they would cover my mirror damage- no sorry!!!!! No apology whatsoever. I would require also 4 days. I could not do it because I had to drive back to Virginia next day. I was told that damage could not be covered if replaced in VA! No words! Please be aware customers! July 2021 Judy customer representative was nice and empathetic but it did not help my overall frustration and true dissatisfaction with the services. More
