Usually very good service but I was disappointed today. Ira has a new text message process that was confusing. I received a text that indicted all had gone well. So I went to pay the bill only to find o Ira has a new text message process that was confusing. I received a text that indicted all had gone well. So I went to pay the bill only to find out the car was still being worked on. That made no sense. And the text indicated a total cost but when I went to the cashier the second time the bill was about 20% more. Therefore it was not a good customer experience. It was below average. Ira needs to improve the texting process. More
I forget the gentleman's name. But the person who helped me was extremely helpful. When I got to the point to pay the bill I had forgot that I had a $25 coupon. He rang me up and after the transaction was completed. I remembered. He was very nice and very hospitable even though it was my mistake, and he took the $25 off. I really felt stupid giving him the coupons after my transaction was complete. But he thought nothing of it and was very nice. I truly appreciated that. More
I came to the Toyota Service Center early today to get the inspection sticker for the Corolla I bought Thursday. This suited me perfectly, since I’d already endured an all-day process on Thursday and wanted to avoid another lengthy wait. I brewed a coffee, settled in the waiting area, and used the complimentary Wi-Fi. Twenty minutes later, I visited the Parts department to request a quote for floor mats - the car had only come with the driver’s side mat. John Fernandez efficiently prepared and provided me with an invoice quote. I returned to the lounge and settled into a plush leather recliner. Within twenty minutes, I noticed my vehicle positioned outside. The technician walked past me to deliver keys and documentation to Eric who summoned me to complete the process. When inquiring about potential concerns, Eric confirmed everything was in order. After signing the paperwork and exchanging appreciative remarks, I departed satisfied with the efficient service. Very good experience today. Great communication, handoff of info between other employees was clear and consistent, and all options were well explained. My first review was never posted, so here was my experience again with Ira Toyota of Hyannis. I had 9938 miles on my 2023 Tacoma, went in for a 10,000 mile service, saw that they want to do a 15,000 experience again with Ira Toyota of Hyannis. I had 9938 miles on my 2023 Tacoma, went in for a 10,000 mile service, saw that they want to do a 15,000 mile service. Told the service rep that the 2 items I needed regardless of any other work was an oil and filter change, and a tire rotation. He told me that they were going to have to do the 24 month-20,000 mile service. I reminded him that there was only 9938 miles, and I've only had the truck for 18 months. He said we're not giving You more than 2 oil changes in Your 24 month free maintenance, even though I had a coupon in hand for a free oil and filter change. Instead of getting into an argument, I watched him stamp my 20,000 mile maintenance page. I dealt with this nickel and diming before when it was the same employees there under other ownerships. The rep didn't listen to me at 4,958 miles either, stamped it at 10,000 miles. All tk avoid having to give me an oil and filter change. Reps not listening to me, ignoring the engineers recommendations on the maintenance log for vehicles driving in certain conditions needing oil changes in 5,000 mile intrrvals, not 10,000 miles, what are they doing there, unbelivable. More
