Did they replace my visor? Yes. It’s all the other stuff that drives me bananas. I tried calling to set up the service appointment, but they were heavily pushing to the online Yes. It’s all the other stuff that drives me bananas. I tried calling to set up the service appointment, but they were heavily pushing to the online appointment app, which they clearly don’t monitor because they didn’t have a visor in stock on the day of my service. So it took an extra day. In a sane world with my usual guy, I would call him, tell him what I need, and he would say something like it’ll take a couple of days to get the visor. Can you come in on Wednesday? And I would say sure. And he would have the visor there. I probably would wait, because it would only take a few minutes. They did however go out of their way to recommend literally $2700 worth of additional work I had not asked for. Again, if my usual guy told me I needed to replace these parts, I would believe him, because he does not aggressively push all the stuff on me. The obvious impression here though, is that they are pushing as much additional work as they can possibly squeeze out of me, like the person at Jiffy Lube, who holds up the dirty air filter, and looks at you like, wow! That’s really dirty! Yes, because the air filter is doing what it should do. More
I was quoted a price of $21. 05, but when I arrived at the dealer, the price was $40. I did have a coupon so the cost was $35.81. Not a big number but I was misinformed. So happy to see this opportunity to express my disappointment with your organization. I expected an IRA dealer to be top-notch but that was far from my experience. Even though I was purchasing a disappointment with your organization. I expected an IRA dealer to be top-notch but that was far from my experience. Even though I was purchasing an older model used RAV4 the condition was sub-par. The salesman stated he had taken it out for a long drive and all was perfect. Not exactly the truth. We said we would arrive 9am to final everything, but vehicle was not even close to ready. He sent us to go have lunch somewhere at 11 to return at 12. We still had to wait until 2:30 to complete everything. Outside condition of vehicle was fair with alot of scratches and wear and tear. But it is a 2010 and I wanted a solid vehicle I could depend on. The plastic face plate for speedometer was so damaged and cloudy it was hard to read it. I was given a "We Owe" for the part to fix it myself which I am still waiting to receive. The left front fender was glued ack on as we waited, but came loose during our ride back to Worcester. It failed inspection for the fender, water in driver's headlight, and no high beam on passenger side. Also vehicle had a old rusted trailer hitch on the back for which I was told I could remove it if I didn't want it. Why would an 80 year old woman..newly widowed I might add..need a rusted trailer hitch. All I wanted was a solid dependable small SUV that will be the last car I have to purchase. Boy, did he see me coming! There are also 2 plastic parts that cover the sides on the back floor that are missing. Found one under the floor board which a friend was able to snap back into place. I was simply dismayed that a business with your reputation would allow a vehicle with so many negative issues to leave it's lot in that condition. Driven by an 80 year old woman! On the purchase agreement I noticed I was charged $35 for an inspection which clearly was not done, and then had to pay again when I took it to get the sticker...which obviously failed. The cost to me to make these repairs was $400, which I'm still waiting to hear from someone about the reimbursement. All in all it was an extremely disappointing experience that I would expect from a 'Joe's Used Cars' on a corner lot somewhere. Never from a nation wide organization like IRA'S. More
I had my Highlander’s first 5,000 mile servicing, and aside from the routine maintenance, the team was able to eliminate an annoying sound due to a malaligned rear hatch. aside from the routine maintenance, the team was able to eliminate an annoying sound due to a malaligned rear hatch. More
