The mechanic made sure to go over a few areas of concern with me and Nicole took me personally to the Garage to make sure all the options were discussed visually with the Mechanic. She and the Mechanic covered all the bases in a pleasant manner. The world needs more Nicole’s. Especially in the Automobile Service Industry. I took my ‘21 Tacoma in for an appointment to have a front axle replaced under warranty, adding inspection & 30k service (fluids, filters, rotation) to it. “3hr will be plenty of time.” Performed insp & front axle replaced under warranty, adding inspection & 30k service (fluids, filters, rotation) to it. “3hr will be plenty of time.” Performed insp & service, not able to get to the axle before closing. I’m from out of town, had to get motel room. They had no loaner, but ok’d me taking my truck & bringing it back at 7am. Left dealership, 18lbs air in one tire. It held steady for ~2hr, so I parked it for the night. Flat tire the next morning. When I tried to get the tire off of the axle, it wouldn’t budge. Wheel corroded onto the axle. It took a hammer on the inside of the wheel to break it loose. Service manager took one look at the picture and agreed that the wheel had not been removed from the rear axle. Truck went back in the shop. Service writer came out to settle up, argued that the tires had been rotated the previous day as evidenced by the tool marks on the lugs. Assumed that I’m an idiot because I’m female. Tool marks only proved that the tech can operate an impact wrench as good as I can operate a lug wrench. Service writer also assured me that everything was put back where it should be. It was all left in the bed of the truck. Shop foreman would not come out to talk to me. I purchased the truck from them 1/2021. I will never set foot back on the property. I have had a problem nearly every time I’ve gone in there. I did ask for a shuttle ride just down the street. Driver was very, very nice. When I called to be picked up, I waited for over an hour. Called back to ask again. He came right away. He was never given the message earlier. More

I went in asking for help with a bolt in my tire! They were so kind and fit me into their schedule. They kept me updated throughout, fixed the problem and did a quick service check. I am very dissatisfied with the policy of getting tires from Ira Toyota in Hyannis..I made an appointment last week and told the person I talked to that I wanted tires, the kind I wanted and proceeded from Ira Toyota in Hyannis..I made an appointment last week and told the person I talked to that I wanted tires, the kind I wanted and proceeded to make appointment for today the 5th.at 1:30 pm..I was there and checked in my car.. made sure about the type of tires I wanted and thought everything was a go..I went to the waiting area and got comfortable with a book knowing it would be about 3 hours..About 5 minutes later the service technician came out and told me they don't have tires in house..Said they had to be ordered and paid for first..Okay I get that small business don't have the capital to by all different tires on hand..but this is not a small buisness..Why I wasn't informed about this policy is inexcusable appointment was made for a week and was not until afternoon..They had my phone number.and e-mail address and and could have texted me their policy so they wasted my time and theirs..I was not happy I had to make another appointment (an inconvenience) and told I have to leave my car all day...I just don't think that's anyway to treat a customer who bought her car from Hyannis Toyota and paid for it with cash, and have had every service suggested at Hyannis Toyota..Makes me not want to deal with these policies anymore..Communication would have been very helpful ...
