I am sorry about the length of time taken to complete service on your vehicle recently. In addition to the 75,000 mile service, for which we allow approximately 90 minutes to give the technician time to complete a thorough multi point inspection process on the vehicle, we also did a recall. The recall required approximately an hours time to complete. The vehicle was brought in the shop at 8:09 as we had to wait for a technician who is certified to complete your recall. The pricing of the cabin filter part alone is $43.90 plus tax and we have no control on the part pricing. You had been quoted $68.93 for the part, labor, and sales tax. Hi Marlaine, According to the paperwork that I received at the end of my appointment, the recall was not done because you didn’t have the sensor parts. When I first went in, the gentleman told me that if the recall needed to be done that they would have to set an appointment for me in order the parts, but no one ever said anything to me about it, and I didn’t know until after I left and read the paperwork that it needs to be done. So that hour for the recall shouldn’t be factored into my wait time because the recall wasn’t done. So I had to wait for a technician that was certified to complete the recall and then it wasn’t completed?
