Dealership tried to pull a fast one on me today. Trade value of my vehicle was $8000.00 (NADA, Bluebook, and Cargurus average) and the vehicle I was looking to purchase was $10100.00 leaving about Trade value of my vehicle was $8000.00 (NADA, Bluebook, and Cargurus average) and the vehicle I was looking to purchase was $10100.00 leaving about $2400.00 when you add in the fees taxes etc... The delay they presented me showed $9250.00 owed after trade. Upon looking at the offer there were close to $4000.00 in fees and addons. Including 2 that were completely fraudulent. $1134.00 Reinstall fee $499.00 IKON protection $300.00 for nitrogen in tires (which was done by previous owner) receipt from 2021 in glovebox. They tried to charge for a service they were not providing. If I wasn't educated on the scams that dealerships pull I would have given over$9000.00 for a $10,000.00 car after giving them a trade worth $8000. Absolutely discusted. More
