Went into the dealer after calling on the phone and talking to the internet sales department. The internet sales department was very friendly and nice. Came in with a possible trade-in (mazda 3 wagon) and buying a tacoma. The sales manager Louis Rylant is the best sales manager in the business. No pressure, very courteous and honest. I cant say enough good about Louis. The F&I manager was very good and efficient, no problem at all. The salesman Gezehagne was very condescending, and at times rude. We talked about the trade in, his comment was "its a mazda, you cant get anything for this car" implying that my 2009 mazda 3 wagon was a piece of crap. He said toyotas bring in good money but mazda dont. He is DEAD WRONG. I looked up NADA, kelly blue book, and edmunds and their is no difference in resale between the matrix and mazda 3 wagon. We left the dealership because there is no way I was going to accept the trade in value they gave me. I understand cars dont trade in with great numbers, but dont try to BS me. A month later I sold my car ($4300 dollars more than they offered for a trade) and went back to talk to Louis. Once again, he was great. He passed me on to Gezehagne. Talked to the F&I manager and she asked Gezehagne to fax the paperwork to my insurance company. I pre-called my insurance company to get the fax number and let them know they were going to fax the paperwork. 45 minutes later I was finally able to track down Gezehagne to ask about the paperwork. The insurance company never got it and I didnt want to wait and wait and wait. He assured me that the paperwork was sent. I asked to see the fax receipt. He brought it to me and quickly, rudely, and condescendenly told me "here, I sent it, what do you want me to do, its in the insurance companies hands, it takes time." Then he went off and came back to tell me that the line was busy that is why it wasnt sent. I guess he lied to me about faxing it the first time. I was able to wrestle the form out of his hand to look at it to find out that he was faxing it to area code 868 instead of 888. I brought it to his attention, he grabbed the form and went off to fax it to the right number. No sorry, no nothing. At this point almost 3 hours had past since I got to the dealer. Within 15 minutes, the insurance company faxed the form back to the dealer. Now comes the 1 1/2 hour wait to clean the car and get a sticker on it. Why they couldnt have been doing this before, I have no idea. He tried to tell me that I would have to come back tomorrow to get the sticker on the car. I told him not to wash it, just put a sticker on it, I didnt want to go back and wait another few hours for that. He rudely told me "If you dont want to come back, get the sticker somewhere else." I demanded to get the sticker on the car, and it happened (thank god). I spent 4 1/2 hours there to buy this car. That is a record in my 47 years of life buying a car. There was absolutely no efficiency at all. If you buy at this dealer, you better have at least half a day to give them, because nothing happens quick. I suggest, while the paperwork is being done, get the car in to get washed and stickered. I am sure with minimal coordination, things could be done quicker. More
At all times, Nelson Medrano was a perfect gentleman and did everything to make our experience a pleasant and rewarding one. While Toyota certainly was happy to make a sale, I never experienced undue press did everything to make our experience a pleasant and rewarding one. While Toyota certainly was happy to make a sale, I never experienced undue pressure to purchase a vehicle from them. My experience with the finance manager was also a very positive one and once again, I was never pressured to purchase any additional finance/warranty options. The vehicle was delivered in excellent condition and all of the paperwork was completed in a very satisfactory fashion. More

Chris Okafor helped me get my first car which was a 2009 Toyota Camry. The car was reliable just as he said it would be. I now drive a 2010 Toyota Camry and he also helped me get a lower monthly lease payment with no money out of my pocket. Mr. Okafor was EXTREMELY pleasant throughout the entire transaction and even stayed late to make sure I was able to drive away in my new vehicle because it would be very inconvenient for me to make another trip to the dealership. That day he had somewhere to be in another state but sacrificed his time to save me time and we all know that time is money. Thanks Mr. Chris Okafor and the Danvers Toyota dealership!! More

This was my first car-buying experience since a purchase of a Subaru in 2003 from Patrick Subaru, and this place is miles away from Patrick in service. First, it took us 15 minutes to figure out where of a Subaru in 2003 from Patrick Subaru, and this place is miles away from Patrick in service. First, it took us 15 minutes to figure out where the showroom was. The layout of the dealership is terrible. And don't even think about looking for a pre-owned after the sun goes down. The pre-owned lot is left in pitch darkness. We were at the dealership for close to three hours and looked at a total of 4 cars, test-driving one. Nearly every RAV 4 we were interested in was either out, couldn't be found, or was already sold, and we did a lot of sitting around while this was being determined. The two Mike's were really pushing leases, and couldn't (more like wouldn't) give us a straight answer regarding current financing rates and deals. Overall, the experience was frustrating at best. We'll be buying from Lynn if we decide on a RAV. More
I normally hate the new car buying experience, but enjoyed my interaction with IRA Toyota in Danvers. We were torn between the Honda Oddyssey and the Sienna, but ultimately chose the Sienna due to the enjoyed my interaction with IRA Toyota in Danvers. We were torn between the Honda Oddyssey and the Sienna, but ultimately chose the Sienna due to the service we received. Samuel bent over backwards to ensure we were happy with our purchase and the sales managers worked with him to fully satisfy a pretty tough customer (me) and a tougher customer (my wife). Thanks Samuel for putting us into our new vehicle. More
