I am highly disappointed and very concerned about the service offered at IRA Toyota, Milford. I visited their shop to get a flat tire repaired. I was told specifically by their service representative tha service offered at IRA Toyota, Milford. I visited their shop to get a flat tire repaired. I was told specifically by their service representative that I had a nail in my tire, and I had to replace both the front tires. In addition to this, I was also told that I needed Wheel alignment. I was quoted a price of $244.95 for both the front tires and $79.95 for the wheel alignment. For some reason I smelt something fishy and I decided to walk out of their showroom. Later I took my car to BJ’s tire shop for replacing the front tires as your service department suggested. I also requested them to take a look at my old flat tire and see if it can be patched. The tire shop told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with my tire. There was NO LEAK whatsoever in the tire, there was no need for plug/patch and for sure I did not need alignment, and the tires are at least good for the next couple of years. I felt cheated and fooled. I believe to maintain their showroom they pull all these pranks -- My recommendation: AVOID going to IRA Toyota in Milford. More
Worst experience I've ever had buying a car. The salesperson I dealt with was friendly enough in the beginning, but it soon became clear that he had no idea what he was talking about when it came to salesperson I dealt with was friendly enough in the beginning, but it soon became clear that he had no idea what he was talking about when it came to the kind of car I wanted. He couldn't answer any of my questions, had no idea how to use the computer and disappeared for 30 minutes when we were trying to negotiate price. Finally a (very rude) manager came over and tried to help out, but when he realized that they didn't have the car in the color I wanted or with the options I wanted, he proceeded to try to sell me a car that obviously met none of the criteria I had talked about. He said things like, "a moonroof? What do you need that for? The car is perfectly fine without one." And, "why do you want that dark color? Look at this beige color, it's what everyone is buying." Isn't a car salesman supposed to make the customer happy? Aren't they supposed to figure out a way to get you the car you want? Neither of the salesman put any effort into finding something that I actually wanted. I felt like I was being a burden to them, like they had better things to do. I had already researched prices before I got there, and what they offered for the car, that came with no options, was well above the price for the same car with all the options. It was made very clear, right away, that the price was non-negotiable, it was the best they could give me, and if I didn't want it, they didn't care. Of course I wasn't even interested in the car they were trying to sell me, so I left rather quickly and will NEVER go back there. I also have to mention that I had bought a rather expensive SUV from them less than a year earlier... way to treat repeat customers! I went to Acton Toyota the next day and had the best experience I could ask for. Skip Ira, go straight to Acton! More

I was very discouraged after another MA Toyota dealer could not complete the sale of a Prius because I was from NH and it was Sunday and blah blah blah. I pulled into Ira and they not only had the exact car available to drive within minutes but completed the deal for $200 less than the other guys and then DELIVERED it to me the next day, prepped, cleaned and fully fueled. First class service. More

This is the main number that tells you After hearing an ad on WEEI radio for a Camry for the price of a Corolla I called 'ripoff' central. This is the main number that tells you that plenty of cars are available at the special price. Making an over an hour trip they told me they were sold out. Asked for serial numbers they rudely said I don't need that. Sleeziest place I've ever been! Wouldn't buy a crooked pencil from these aholes. Next day I called the number after I heard the add more times They assured me again that there was many in stock. Another guy within ten minutes told me there was only one left. Another in the same office told me there were none left but I could buy an Auto Camry for 18000 not 13887 of course. Bait and switch liars enable by a radio station on the take. Would n't buy a crooked pencil from these brazen thieves! More
I recently purchased a 07 Camry from Ira Toyota, Danvers Ma. and my experience was unbelievable. The second I stepped foot out of my car I had a very professional, well dressed and polite (not pushy at all Ma. and my experience was unbelievable. The second I stepped foot out of my car I had a very professional, well dressed and polite (not pushy at all...if you know what I mean) salesman. I cannot comment on the service, however I was introduced to one of the service managers and I remained still speechless. All of my standards from a car dealership were not only met but exceeded! My salesperson answered every question I had and I was exceptionally impressed of his knowledge of every vehicle I was looking to purchase. I have since recommended this dealership and salesperson to every one of my friends and family if ever they need to purchase a vehicle. I've always heard of Toyota being a very reliable, solid product, but this experience deserved to be mentioned just as well. Thank You very much to Steve F. and the rest of the Ira staff!!!! Sincerely, Melanie More
This was the worst car buying experience of my life. I bought a 2003 Toyota Matrix from Ira and from sales to service, it's been terrible. When trying to negotiate the price with the salesman, I was basi bought a 2003 Toyota Matrix from Ira and from sales to service, it's been terrible. When trying to negotiate the price with the salesman, I was basically told that the price was set and if I didn't want the car, he'd sell it to someone else by the end of the day. Wow! Way to make your customers feel important! The car recently had an issue with the transmission. I had purchased an extended warranty, so they called to tell me that I had to approve over $400 worth of work so they could tear the tranny apart and diagnose the problem. If it was determined to be a defect than the warranty would cover it. They tore it apart and the service rep called me to say that I needed a new tranny, which would cost me $4K if I didn't have the warranty, but it would be covered and they would give me a rental car while mine was in the shop. I went to get the rental and was told that they didn't have any cars left to rent. Great. When I picked up my car the woman showed me the work order which said only a small part had to be replaced within the tranny and it would have cost me $1,100. I'm still trying to figure out why the service rep lied to me about the work initially. When we went to pick up my car, we went to the used car lot there to look at a couple Siennas that they had. We stood around for a good 20 minutes before I finally went and found a sales person who said "what are you looking for", and I said "a used Sienna". He said "those are all sold" and turned around and walked back inside. Thanks for the help! We ended up buying a '06 Sienna at Atlantic Toyota in Lynn and had a GREAT buying experience there. Skip Ira and go to Atlantic! More
I have bought over a dozen Toyota's from afew different dealers this is the worst experience by far. Brazen bait and switch with the aid of WEEI Radio. This afternoon 1/18/07 IRA announced 'Camry for C dealers this is the worst experience by far. Brazen bait and switch with the aid of WEEI Radio. This afternoon 1/18/07 IRA announced 'Camry for Corolla prices 13887' . Called the website 800 number led to Scott who assured me that 'at least 7 of these low equipped cars were new and available. He made a call the Jonny sleazeball manager in Danvers. After over an hour to get there they just sold the 2 at that price. When they saw I would not slide to a full priced model they attempted to kick me and my family out. Never seen such an underhanded disregard for the law in my life. When I asked for serial numbers of the 2 sold cars he scoffed and said i don't need that. Got a load of discusting venumous employees to kick me out. I would just assume spit on them than buy something from them. Got to go State and BBB letters to write. Will write to Toyota as well. Don't go near them they smell vial. More
My first new car buying experience, and IRA completely fulfilled my worst expectations. My wife and I went in to look around. We were considering a Highlander, but also a Subaru Forester XT and a Honda fulfilled my worst expectations. My wife and I went in to look around. We were considering a Highlander, but also a Subaru Forester XT and a Honda Pilot. The salesman was very rude and pushy. He treated my wife like a second-class citizen, which annoyed me. IRA pulls tricks like "this deal is good today only" and other such high-pressue tactics. They did a bait-and-switch on me, too. I ended up buying my car there because I got a ridiculously good deal. But I blasted them on their review with Toyota. In return, I got harassing phone calls from Cynthia in the PR department. She did her best to put an IRA spin on everything, and never even had the class to admit that IRA had blown it. (My review was very detailed, and she couldn't refute any of the issues, but just made excuses.) They ended up sending me an apology some four weeks later with a free oil change coupon. Needless to say, there's no way I'm going to let these jokers work on my car. I'd consider buying again just becuase, since they're such high volume sellers, you can get a good price. But be prepared for a high-anxiety experience and go in there swinging! More
