I had a 720am appt on 8/10 to have 1. the recall done 2. 45,000 mile service 3. I noticed I also need to have my car inspected asked when it would be ready for me to pick up told apprx 4hrs by noon or 1 th 45,000 mile service 3. I noticed I also need to have my car inspected asked when it would be ready for me to pick up told apprx 4hrs by noon or 1 the latest My husband called at 1 to be told it was not ready I called again at 2 still not ready by 3pm I was not a happy camper I had a neighbor bring me to Ira I asked for Bruce and asked about my car which he told me they were just now doing the inspection. I said it was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE his reply was that they are a busy dealership. I had 2 appt for the afternoon which I had to cancel do to not having my car (a 2004 Prius), he just shrugged his shoulders. After almost 9HOURS I finally got my car, I had a coupon which when he gave me the paper work he said he gave me the discount BIG DEAL $31.32 for all this aggravation!!! I did have an appointment so doesn't that count or did they just park my car and work on it at their leisure?? This was the worst service we have ever received at Ira and oh we also own a 2010 Camry which was our 2nd Camry purchased there in April. Thank you maybe we should try Atlantic Toyota as we do like our Toyotas. PS another thought we were advised that the labor chg on the prius is $95.per hour the charge on the bill was 185.52 less than 2 hours why did it take 9 hours to get my car??? More
Ricky Arora was great to deal with. We came in knowing exactly what we were looking for and the price we were willing to pay. To my relief, Ricky did not engage in any game playing/posturing regarding pri exactly what we were looking for and the price we were willing to pay. To my relief, Ricky did not engage in any game playing/posturing regarding price or availability of the car. What I had been anticipating as an unpleasant experience turned into a friendly, helpful event. My husband and I left grateful that we were treated repectfully and as intellegent consumers. If you're in the market for a new or used car, call Ricky Arora at Ira in Danvers. I was fortunate enough to run into him in the parking lot as arrived to test drive a Corolla. I spent a fair amount of tim Arora at Ira in Danvers. I was fortunate enough to run into him in the parking lot as arrived to test drive a Corolla. I spent a fair amount of time this year working with other dealerships and sales reps to find the car I wanted at the right price to replace my aging Honda Civic. The process was difficult due to the lack of transparancy and endless numbers games. I didn't feel as though anyone had my best interest in mind until I had the opportunity to work with Ricky. It's no mistake that he's the #1 Toyota salesman in the region. He is pleasant, honest, straightforward, and helpful. We were able to quickly negotiate a price that we both felt good about without any hidden fees or "catches". Even after the deal was signed, Ricky went out of his way to help me secure 0% financing - something that he didn't have to do in order to get the sale. He simply and genuinely wanted to help me out. I have already recommended him to friends of mine. He can be reached at 978-739-3745 or rarora@iramotorgroup.com. Happy shopping! More
First of all, I don't believe the ratings here. They're way too high, so it looks like someone from the dealership has been ballot stuffing. No wonder why I got an automated email from them, telling me to way too high, so it looks like someone from the dealership has been ballot stuffing. No wonder why I got an automated email from them, telling me to check out they're high ratings here. Check out Yelp or Google, and you'll see that most of the ratings are one out of five. I'm curious as to how Dealerrater verifies the ratings. I'm sure John Conway, the Internet Sales guy from whom I got the automated email, fabricates users and gives his dealership high ratings on a weekly basis. No way the majority of the reviews should consist of 5s across the board. Now on to my awful experience. I was shocked by the service I received at this place. Or should I say lack of? When I first walked in I was completely ignored even though I was the only customer in the store and there were salespeople all over the place. Since I was in a car dealership, I figured someone would be there to help me the foot I stepped in the door. Being ignored turned out to be the best part of my experience. When I asked for help, I was shoved off on to the most unfriendly salesperson I ever met. In fact, I'm not sure he was even a salesperson because he had no interest in selling. I asked for his card and he didn't have one--or was too lazy to get one for me. He was also rude. When I asked him some questions about the vehicles, he told me to read the stickers on the windows of the cars on display! He also told me to go to Toyota.com for more information. How this guy ever makes sales I have no idea. My guess is that he acted this way because I was leaning toward leasing rather than buying. But that's a terrible excuse. Lastly, the guy lied. He said I was looking at $275/month to lease a Camry. When I went on to the dealership's website when I got home, I found out they had a special that allowed one to lease a Camry for $189/month with nothing down. I left a message with the General Manager to tell him about the experience, but he made minimal effort to get back to me. (One call that I missed. I called him again, but he never called back.) I guess that makes sense if he tolerates behavior from his employees like I encountered. Avoid this store unless you're looking for a business model in poor service. More
Could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. I worked for an auto dealer for 10 years, my husband for 40 years, we have never seen such and exceptional salesperson as Ricky. He was friendly, knowl worked for an auto dealer for 10 years, my husband for 40 years, we have never seen such and exceptional salesperson as Ricky. He was friendly, knowledgable and most of all not a high pressure salesman, which we truly appreciated. We really were happy that the car was ready and waiting when we arrived. I had a bad experience elsewhere and was not happy about going to another dealership. I met with Sam and had told him I was looking for a price and wanted to leave. Darin I think the manager was walking by going to another dealership. I met with Sam and had told him I was looking for a price and wanted to leave. Darin I think the manager was walking by and offered a smile and sat down and from there, both Sam & Darin offered me the price and service I was looking for. I thank them both, as I just had the best experience with them both. Great job. More
I bought today a Toyota Rav4 from Ira Toyota of Danvers, and I had a very pleasant experience dealing with everyone there. The sales consultant Ricki Arora was very fiendly, helpful and efficient. He answer and I had a very pleasant experience dealing with everyone there. The sales consultant Ricki Arora was very fiendly, helpful and efficient. He answered all my questions very clearly and helped close the deal and prepare the car for pick up on the same day I bought it. The sales manager Kastro was very honest and very accommodating without being pushy. In the finance department, Richard Tewksbury was very helpful too, explaining all the pertinent details of the agreement patiently. I highly recommend this dealership. More
My wife and I originally worked with Julio to trade in my car for a new 2010 Toyota Prius. Instead over the course of two Saturdays (June 26 and July 4) we ended up trading in my wife's car as well for anot car for a new 2010 Toyota Prius. Instead over the course of two Saturdays (June 26 and July 4) we ended up trading in my wife's car as well for another new 2010 Toyota Prius. It was all because of Julio and his team. He worked very hard to get us into the vehicles at a price we could afford. His professionalism, knowledge of the product and easy going nature made negotiations a painless process. Julio was also very patient with us as we had our 19 month and 2 month old daughters in tow the entire time. Julio went far beyond the call of duty when he drove to Vermont so that I could sign the paperwork. We're in the process of relocating from Vermont to Massachusetts and his efforts were the only way the deals could be completed. I couldn't believe it. Julio is a true asset to Ira Toyota. I also consider him a new found friend. I highly recommend Julio to everyone looking for a wonderful car-buying experience. He's truly top notch! More
