Went in for an oil and filter change on my Brand New Venza. Upon checkout with the Service Advisor, I was told they had to charge me more because my car takes over 5 quarts of oil. I said to Service A Venza. Upon checkout with the Service Advisor, I was told they had to charge me more because my car takes over 5 quarts of oil. I said to Service Advisor, "Gee, I thought I read somewhere that it takes 4.8 quarts with a filter change". He had a look of puzzlement, and also an attitude of in-action. I stupidly just paid it and went on my way. That evening, I did research and was correct, the vehicle takes 4.8 quarts when changing the filter too. I feel like this is a "fraudulent like" action by the Service Department. Granted it only amounted to about $10, but WHY ? Do they really need to steal peoples money ? More
