As most people can attest, buying a car is one of the most difficult and tedious tasks one can do. However, the staff at Ira Toyota definitely made this experience not only enjoyable, but also worthwhile. When I went to visit Ira in Danvers, I was in a very rough situation and needed to get a car at a good price and fast. James Bennett and Justin Webber personally bent over backwards to get my deal approved and to put me in a car that I could afford. James Bennett made sure I was completely comfortable in the vehicle I chose (a new 2009 Toyota Corolla) and never made me feel pressured to sign any papers. James was very thorough about explaining everything in detail to me. He took the time to find the car that best suited my lifestyle and my budget all the while making sure I was happy in my purchase. Justin Webber took the time to explain the extended warranties and their benefits but never made me feel pressured to purchase one. Justin was a miracle worker when it came to dealing with the banks and getting me into a payment I could afford. The next time I need to buy a car, I'll be going to Ira Danvers and I will be specifically asking for James Bennett and Justin Webber. Thank you! More
General sales manager gave me a no hassle quote on a 3 yr. lease over the phone. Beat other dealer quotes by almost $50/month with the exact model car and color I wanted. Doing the deal with them was easy yr. lease over the phone. Beat other dealer quotes by almost $50/month with the exact model car and color I wanted. Doing the deal with them was easy and pleasant. Salesman I dealt with was incredibly helpful and honest. All my purchases should go this smoothly! More
It's such a joke when you see car commercials with people buying a car and driving it away the same day. It has taken almost 1 month and counting for us to even say we have a car. We bought it on Feb. 20th a buying a car and driving it away the same day. It has taken almost 1 month and counting for us to even say we have a car. We bought it on Feb. 20th and right now it is supposedly being fixed for it's second problem, of which we're not even getting answers for. Not to mention we still do not have our registration nor our inspection because they don't know where our registration is. I can give you an answer...it is with them probably sitting at the front desk, they most likely overlooked it. Everytime my husband and I have called Ira, either no one picks up and we leave a message that is not returned or you finally do get to speak with someone and all they can say is "I don't know". The only part of this nightmare I am happy with is that we were provided with a rental to use while they're toying with our car. I believe they caused the second problem because nothing was wrong with our car before they worked on it. Their customer service is horrible. The gentleman we worked with was very slow with response, very nice, but that does not change our overall experience with him. The next time I buy a car, new or used, I intend to travel the extra distance to Boch. I will never do business with Ira again. I should have read the reviews about this place (on another website). The highest rating was 3 stars and they said that was pushing it. Every review I read experienced the same problems as us. How unprofessional. More
Ira of Danvers was great. Chris Okafor was extremely accommdating. My wife loved the service - while the kids slept in the (old) car, Chris brought all the paperwork to my wife, like one of those old " accommdating. My wife loved the service - while the kids slept in the (old) car, Chris brought all the paperwork to my wife, like one of those old "drive-in" restaurants. When the kids woke-up, they loved the play area. Everyone was very nice, and the price was much better than any other dealship would settle on. I was in touch with half-a-dozen Toyota dealerships, so this us saying a lot. My wife had anxiety about dealing with anyone besides her "pet" dealership where she bought her Sienna, but she was very relieved when she actually came into Ira/Danvers. There were no head-games at Financing time, unlike other places (Can you say "Boch"????). Even the price itself: Chris asked me what I wanted to pay, I told him, and all the rest was paperwork. Usually people drive up to New Hampshire from Greater Boston to buy a car; our family drove *down* from New Hampshire to Danvers to buy one. Ira of Danvers treated us very well. When you go there, ask for Chris. More
I went to Ira after visiting multiple dealerships and found them warm, friendly and extremely attentive. My salesman Nelson kept in contact with me by phone after my first visit, up until I came in to pu found them warm, friendly and extremely attentive. My salesman Nelson kept in contact with me by phone after my first visit, up until I came in to purchase my vehicle and answered any question or concern I had. Castro was able to give me an excellent trade in value for my used vehicle and made sure I was able to find a car I loved that I could afford. Scott handled my financing seemlessly and efficiently. I look forward to working with Toyota in the future and will certainly be back there to service my new car. More
I just want to say a special thanks to Martha. She was friendly, down to earth, and made me feel comfortable. The one thing I liked most about her was, she wasn't pushy. Steve is very friendly and enthusiastic and seems to know what he is talking about. We shopped around and although we had our choice of Scion dealerships we decided to go with Ira Toyota because of the quali what he is talking about. We shopped around and although we had our choice of Scion dealerships we decided to go with Ira Toyota because of the quality of their service and our positive interactions with Steve. Unlike some other dealerships we went to, Steve and his co-workers did not put on the pressure and were perfectly fine with having us come back the next day if we found their service to be the best. We would certainly recommend Ira Toyota to others. More
Martha and Keith were fantastic. Very real people. Honest and upfront. We usually find car salesman despicable people, but not these 2. The rating I have given is because of the excellent service I received in looking for a new car. Ken was very friendly and cooperative, he was also very patient with the many questions I had. He also s service I received in looking for a new car. Ken was very friendly and cooperative, he was also very patient with the many questions I had. He also showed me how to operate the car. He really cared about my satisfaction and called me to make sure I was fine with the car and enjoyed the car. I cannot say enough about the service that Ken gave me. It was a pleasure to buy a car from him. More
We spoke with a very nice, low-key salesman. He took our keys to get an estimate for our trade and we looked at a new car. We had a commitment and had to leave, so scheduled an appointment for the next day. keys to get an estimate for our trade and we looked at a new car. We had a commitment and had to leave, so scheduled an appointment for the next day. The sales manager held on to our keys for no reason than that he had to come smile at us, despite our protestations that we had to go. We waited for him for 15 long minutes. Honesty goes both ways - the salesman was great, but his manager didn't trust that we had to leave. So we went to Atlantic Toyota and bought our car. This happened in May, 2008. More
