No point in making an appointment. Had a noon appointment. They said car would be ready between 2 and 2:30. Got a call at 2:30 that they weren’t going to get to the car that day and we had to pick it up. We live 30 min from the dealer and were going to have to bring it back on Monday, even though the Saturday was the only free day for us to bring the car in. Service rep said nothing could be done. I spoke to manager who offered a loaner car after i said that we had 4 Toyotas at one time that were all serviced there and that I would never step into Ira again, after spending 10s of thousands there over the years. All ended ok, but why make appointments that you can’t honor and leave people in a lurch. They brought the car to us on Monday. My new car is a Mazda and they offered me a loaner when they were running late. My time and peace of mind is worth more to me. More

I emailed the Director of Used Car Sales on December 30th about our terrible experience and waited over a week with no response. So here we are. My partner and I had one of the worst car-buying experience about our terrible experience and waited over a week with no response. So here we are. My partner and I had one of the worst car-buying experiences we’ve ever had at IRA Toyota Danvers. Our salesperson, Chris, constantly dragged out the process with “one more step,” only to ignore us and leave us sitting in the lobby for over 30 minutes when we picked up the car. When we finally approached him about picking up our vehicle, he handed us keys with dead batteries, pointed to the car, and walked away. We could not even get into the car and then never received the replacement key batteries we were promised after a manager, Peter, helped us with the car. As a gay couple, we left feeling dismissed and disrespected in a way that felt discriminatory. There was simply no reason for the unprofessional treatment we received. Because the car needed to be jump started before we test drove it, we asked that the battery be replaced before we took the car. We were told the car would be inspected, the battery replaced, and the check engine issue repaired before purchase. Instead, we had to drive 45 minutes each way and sit for 3.5 hours to replace a battery that should have been taken care of before the vehicle ever left the lot. It’s hard to believe any true inspection was done. The only bright spot was Peter, who treated us the way customers should be treated from the start. Unfortunately, he is also the person who did not respond to our concerns and one good interaction doesn’t make up for the broken promises, wasted time, and complete lack of follow-up from the dealership. If this is how IRA Toyota Danvers handles customers and then ignores them when they try to resolve issues privately, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere. More
I like their score card regarding things they checked on my car. I like that they share that information by video. I can see what they see. Leads me to trust them more than I otherwise would. Went in to buy a car. I wanted to put a substantial amount of money down and was told the amount I wanted to put down was too much. And that no one would give me a small lo I wanted to put a substantial amount of money down and was told the amount I wanted to put down was too much. And that no one would give me a small loan. They were wrong. I also felt pressured and talked into purchasing toyota care package, which I probably didn't need which added to the price To add insult to injury my first day driving in the car. I was out and there was no windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. It's the small things that matter. I just felt it was typical of car salesmen and metal. How sleazy and slippery they do business I may not have been a 100% prepared And this was my third car from this dealer over the last 20 years. Hopefully, this will be my last car cause I won't deal with these guys again More
