Brought my car in for an oil change. On my drive home, the tire-pressure sensor went off. I was concerned that I had a flat tire because I knew that Mazda checks the tire pressure during On my drive home, the tire-pressure sensor went off. I was concerned that I had a flat tire because I knew that Mazda checks the tire pressure during service. I pulled over to the side of the road and confirmed that the tires were still inflated. Later, I brought the car to a local service station to inflate the tires. I was shocked to find that all tires were overinflated by 4 PSI above the spec. So instead of inflating the tires, I deflated them which solved the issue. Beyond the annoyance of having to deal with this issue, it makes me question the work that the Mazda service department does. Was this a fluke or are they sloppy on more complicated repair issues? More
