I had visited multiple dealerships in my used car search and many were very unpleasant experiences. From the moment I pulled in the lot Elmer waved me in and joked as though I was gonna run him over which w and many were very unpleasant experiences. We had a few laughs, he provided quality information on the vehicle, and the pressure was just right (not overly aggressive). Additionally, the staff seemed intelligent and competent which was refreshing. Brian provided arguably the best customer service I have ever received from any business in any field. We ended up voluntarily staying 20 minutes after they were supposed to close talking about sports and colleges while getting the financing we needed done as well. He came across as the kind of guy you would grab a beer with and for that reason I took all his advice and we settled things up right then and there. There was absolutely no high pressure tactics used by anyone we met at the dealership. Everyone was very friendly and honest about what ever issue we were discussing. The car was ready for the time they promised us and it was one of the most enjoyable car buying experiences I have ever had. They also had great prices and were very fair with the trade in price they gave us for our old car. When we left with our new car our salesman told us to call if we had any questions. It was an overall positive experience. I am now anxious to see what the service department will be like. More
I had a great buying experience at Langway. I had narrowed my search down to the Subaru Impreza and Ford Focus, so I stopped in to check out a 2012 Focus. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional. The owner Mr. Langway even made a point to introduce himself and thank me for my business. With some of my past car purchases I've had to spend the entire day negotiating down to a reasonable price, but this was not the case at Langway. I was offered a very low price for the Focus and a fair price for my trade without having to go back and forth for hours. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another vehicle in the future. More

I just bought a New F350 Super Duty from Langway Ford, The entire staff was professional and extremely helpful. I said "give me your best price lets not play around" and they did just that, no-nonsense, no hassles no pressure. Other local dealers could not even come close (one other dealership actually told me point blank they could not compete with Langway.) The sales, finance and management staff conducted the sales process the way "I" "ME" "THE CUSTOMER" wanted it not forcing anything on me. I'm an indecisive person at times and made several trips and test drives of a number of trucks. During the entire process I always felt welcome, appreciated as a customer and experienced the old style "Customer is always right" attitude that is so hard to find these days.. I have since had several sincere follow-up calls from both Sales and Management at Langway to ensure I'm satsified and everything is as I expected. I went to Langway Ford in June 2011. I purchased a vehicle and had a fantastic experience. Through life's challenges, I went back to this dealer in February 2012. Kris Dewar, Mike Nicoletti and Brian Meola are the most fantastic sales and financing representatives that I have EVER dealt with. Extremely low pressure to buy, relaxing atmosphere and great people. Starting the first time I went there, Jim Langway was out and about of his office and introduced himself to me and made sure I was getting the help I needed. Every time I have gone there since then, he makes it a point to come out of the office to say "Hi" and How's it going?" and "is there anything we can help you with." Jim knows how to run a business and lives by the concept of "If we don't take of the customer, someone else will." The prices at Langway are something you can't even compare. I went down to a Ford dealer in New London, CT because a friend asked if I would look at a car with her and I told the dealer in NL, CT that I was in the process of buying a new vehicle as well. They said "would you like to sit down and talk numbers?" I told them that they couldn't even come close to what Langway can offer. The guy asked about the numbers and I explained them. The dealer's exact words were "How can they make money on that?" I said to them, "when they have offers that exceed all other dealers, people go to them. Yes; they have to sell more cars to make the same amount you are, but they are happy to do it and the CUSTOMER is getting the biggest benefit; a reliable vehicle at a fantastic price. Not to mention the fact that via word-of-mouth, the business gets the highest praises. No matter how many sales-papers you put an ad in, having actual experiences from 'me to you' customers is the BEST way to get repeat business. I can successfully say 2 things about this dealer: I WILL BE buying my next vehicle from them and I WOULD SUGGEST THEM TO ANYBODY WHO NEEDS A NEW VEHICLE WITH NO SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT IT. More
