I brought my car in for an oil change using dealer issued coupons for a "free oil change." The next day my check engine light was on. I brought it to O'Reilly for a free diagnostic, they said the code could coupons for a "free oil change." The next day my check engine light was on. I brought it to O'Reilly for a free diagnostic, they said the code could simply be a hose not being plugged in or something more serious with exhaust and engine ventilation.I called Prime wondering if maybe the tech doing the oil change forgot to reattach a hose or filter? The woman in service said I would need to book an appointment. Unfortunately they were booking a week plus out. My car still had the 80,000/8yr warranty so I brought it to GMC dealership in case it was actually something wrong it would be covered. Well it turns out, my "free oil change " at Prime cost me 150 dollars at the GMC dealership for them to tell me that a hose was left unplugged, most likely after my recent oil change. While I am grateful it was nothing serious, I am disappointed in Primes service department AND their customer service. I left three messages for David Foy and got no response and I spoke with an online chat and gave my email and phone again...still no response. More
I contacted this dealer among others and they were extremely responsive. I was in the business myself so i I did the numbers i wanted and they were willing to make the deal . I was given all the numbers down to the penny assuming all was well with my trade. I arrived at the dealer and everything was ready and the numbers were exactly as promised . I live in NY and drove out there because of the way i was treated and given the past and current pandemic, i would say they did an awesome job of facilitating the sale . I would recommend giving them a shot if you are on the market for a ford. More

I think its time the service department invested in finding someone who cares and has a memory. More
