As a first time buyer I felt that the finance director tried to take advantage of me. To start off, he tried to sell me the GAP insurance, Warranty, and maintenance plan for a really high price. Secondly, tried to take advantage of me. To start off, he tried to sell me the GAP insurance, Warranty, and maintenance plan for a really high price. Secondly, when I asked him if those plans were required in order for me to get the loan, he lied straight to my face and said yes. I mistakenly believed him and did the deal. I did some research afterwards and realized that it was illegal for him to say that those plans were required. I confronted him after I bought the car and he said “That is how I negotiate with the bank”. It was not until I asked in writing to cancel those plans that he finally gave in. Luckily I had 60 days to cancel with only a $50 fee. After I refinanced my car after 3 months I got GAP insurance for $250 instead of the $750 that he sold it to me for. I have now been waiting 5 months for that refund. His latest excuse is that the system has been down for over a week so he can’t check the status of my refund. I am probably never doing business with this guy again. More

Purchased from them, a 2014 MDX in 2015 with a clean car fax. Go to trade the car in at Audi Westwood to purchase an SQ5 and I find out the car fax has an entry the day after I purchased the MDX in 2015 for fax. This info was used against me when negotiating my trade. I had the clean car fax in my glove box from the day I bought the car in 2015 and this helped me. Audi gave me an additional 500 dollars because they understood the crappy situation created by Acura of Westwood. The COO of the entire Prime group, Dennis Wilson called and apologized, was supposed to follow up and never did. Very dissapointing FYI... just don't trust them. When I went to the Acura dealer located next door to Audi, the GM laughed it off and didn't want to address it. I do love my SQ5👍 More

Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and the deal that was reached after a coupl I purchased a new 2020 Acura RDX A-Spec from Tony at Prime Acura. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and the deal that was reached after a couple days of negotiations. Tony was a very good sales person to work with, very knowledgeable. As for the RDX itself, it’s a great comfortable SUV to drive on my long daily commute. The only issue that I have been having with the car is that the brakes have been squealing when coming to a stop on cold days. I brought this issue up with the service department when I came a week later for the inspection sticker and paint protection application. I was told that the brake pads may need to be swapped and there’s a service bulletin out with a fix coming soon. I’m hoping that they will be able to resolve this issue soon because I’ve never had a car with squealing brakes like this... it’s a little upsetting to hear this noise on such a expensive (and brand new) vehicle. Other than this, the car has been good. More
