I recently bought an Acura MDX from Prime Acura. My experience was superb start to finish. Clyde Brown was informed, professional and a pleasure to do business with. We needed to buy another car but with busy work and home schedules. The thought of purchasing a new car was another dreaded task on the long list of to do's. Our family had been loyal Honda owners prior to this purchase. Clyde's introduction to the Acura MDX quickly sold us. We were happy to learn that Acura was part of the Honda family and we qualified for a loyalty rebate. From there, Clyde Brown and Charles Rezil made the rest of the car buying process efficient and fun. I highly recommend this dealership! Pauline M. More

The automotive industry has changed; consumer preferences have changed. It is more important than ever that dealerships meet their customers’ needs with a new mindset. Promising customer-friendly service alo have changed. It is more important than ever that dealerships meet their customers’ needs with a new mindset. Promising customer-friendly service alone is not sufficient anymore. They need to personalize the customer experience. And this is what Prime Acura does very well. We genuinely enjoyed our two visits in Westwood while looking for a new car. Tony Romain’s enthusiasm and passion were refreshing considering popular generalizations associated with this business. He was knowledgeable and his tutorial before our test drive was not only excellent but also entertaining. It was great to have a tour of the entire facility and observe a service technician (John?) working on a brand-new vehicle making sure all systems worked smoothly. We learned from Lenny Goldwasser, general sales manager, about company’s focus on customer experience through wise recruitment and training. Went to buy a new car (2nd purchase) and confirmed with our sales consultant that we would buy the car if the price was right. Everything was going smoothly while we were working with a very courteous and our sales consultant that we would buy the car if the price was right. And then his sales manager got involved for only a few minutes and things went South very fast from there. The manager seemed cocky and arrogant. When we asked him if there was room for negotiating the base price his response was rather condescending even though we are repeat customers and go there for service and repairs since we purchased our first MDX. He spoke as if he was doing us a favor by speaking with us. Had he shown the slightest humility and been respectful, we would have paid the full price; seemed like the "manager" title had gone to his head. We felt sorry for our professional sales consultant who had put in the grunt work only to be messed by an arrogant manager. We left and drove 30 minutes to Framingham to Herb Connally Acura. Excellent service, courteous and professional and we purchased the same vehicle at a slightly better price in no time. I feel bad for the sales consultant who spent the time showing us the car and selling us the benefits of owning the model and the sales manager messed everything up. Prime Acura is out; Herb Connally is in. We have two more neighbors who have also purchased from Herb C and have had excellent experience. More
