Highly suggest not doing business here. Inquired about a 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport for sale and was able to set up a test drive. After test driving the vehicle I sat down with Fadia and went over all the deta 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport for sale and was able to set up a test drive. After test driving the vehicle I sat down with Fadia and went over all the details. Had my trade in appraised and got a breakdown of cost and estimated monthly payments. Gave my card information to hold the vehicle as I was told it had to go through the service center first before I could meet with Finance. Come to find out now 2 days later that the car apparently has a lot wrong with it, but it was safe enough for them to let me test drive, put a card on file to hold. I am being told they can't disclose what the problems are and Carfax doesn't show any information pertaining to this, and that they will be selling the car Wholesale (not sure what that means). Extremely disappointed with this dealership and the time wasted with no clear answers. If you're going to post a car for sale and allow someone to test drive it you would think the car is safe enough. But my safety was put at risk. More
Worst experience ever! Purchased a car at the end of December it’s now February and my car still hasn’t left the lot. Worked with a salesman named Daquan Thompson he gave me the run around for about 4 w December it’s now February and my car still hasn’t left the lot. Worked with a salesman named Daquan Thompson he gave me the run around for about 4 weeks blaming the RI DMV for the car not being ready, then continuously contacted me telling me it will be ready “this week.” This went on for almost a month. Finally got fed up and contacted the manager Lenny. He was very irritated with me and my husband for constantly contacting them saying and I quote “ Big Deal, the car isn’t ready yet what do you want me to do, shoot the guy?” Actively yelling over us on the phone and hung up on us twice. We got in touch with the General manager Jose, he seemed more pleasant and willing to help us. After almost two weeks of dealing with him he finally gave in and canceled the sale. I’m still waiting on my down payment refund which he said he has no exact timeframe of when I will receive it! This was the WORST car buying experience I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I did my research and followed up with the Rhode Island DMV and found out in the whole month they were giving me the run around that no one from Ira Acura had even been there to register the vehicle. Now I have paid insurance going on 2 months for the car I bet received and I am fighting to get the whole policy reversed. I advise you NOT to shop here, they are a huge dealership and I never expected this outcome. Such a terrible experience!! More
