I went there to buy an used car. I liked one. I wanted 2-3 days to think about it. Sales agent (Mike Mcdonald) wanted me to put $200 to hold the car. He said it is refundable. I gave Cash and got receipt. 2-3 days to think about it. Sales agent (Mike Mcdonald) wanted me to put $200 to hold the car. He said it is refundable. I gave Cash and got receipt. After 3 days when I called back, he said the car is sold. I was not informed about it. I did not understand the reason for giving $200. I went to take my $200. They asked me come next day to take my cash. I went next day and they gave me Check for $200. I told them I gave Cash and I want refund in Cash (I did not have local bank account to deposit check). I spoke to a Manager. I still do not know how he became a Manager. He does not know anything about their own policies. He asked me to come next day to pick up cash. Next day they gave me the same check stating they cannot give cash, its some company policy. I was told that I can present the check in local bank on which the check was written. I found no point in arguing with them. Took the check to bank to take cash. Bank says they will deduct $10 and give $190 because the account is setup like that. DO NOT BELIVE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CHEATERS. EVERYTIME I WENT OT TAKE MY MONEY, I WAS ILL-TREATED. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I WILL POST THIS EVERYWHERE THERE IS A REVIEW FOR PORRECO NISSAN. I WANT TO SAVE AS MANY PEOPLE I CAN FROM THESE CHEATERS. More
This is the second time we had visited this dealership within 5 years and it will be the last. The first time we were there we had a 2006 Pathfinder LE. We had just moved to the area from Texas, which was within 5 years and it will be the last. The first time we were there we had a 2006 Pathfinder LE. We had just moved to the area from Texas, which was where we bought the Pathfinder. We had less then 20,000 miles on it and in immaculate condition. We were interested in a AWD Murano or Rogue at the time because of the winter's here. They were insulting to us and told us they didn't want our Pathfinder (which was loaded!!) and said we "should take it down south and get rid of it". We vowed never to go back there. In 2011 we traded it for (2) GM leased AWD vehicles and they were more than happy to take our vehicle. Our leases would have been up in May of 2014 so we recently started looking around for vehicles that we thought we would be interested in when the leases were up. We broke our vow and visited Porreco again in August. We were again looking at the Pathfinder. They treated us like we had the plague. They were not interested in our vehicles even if they were very low mileage (14,000 and 10,000) and AWD. We told them that we were looking at vehicles for replacements in May. They weren't interested in talking to us and have never called us and I'm sure they never will. That REALLY did it for us. We'll never go back. The following week we went to Montrose Nissan in Hermitage and they were wonderful!! They worked very hard and got us out of our leases early with no cost to us and we came home with a new Pathfinder Platinum!! Porreco did us a favor! More
We actually had just begun looking for a truck and stopped in to check out what trucks were available. The truck we wanted to test drive was there, even in the color we wanted. My husband liked the truck and we left to check out another dealer. Later that same day we came back and made a deal and bought the truck. We felt we were treated fairly during the process of buying the truck and have no complaints. Although we have not even had the truck for a week, we love it!! More
Our visit to Nissan was just to look at used cars available. We were greeted in the parking lot by Kris and quickly were informed about the many options for trading in our vehicle and purchasing a ne available. My wife & I had been looking for a month for a mid-size car, with several makes & models in mind. To me, this usually isn't a fun experience. We finally landed at Porreco Nissan & met Shawn Nunemaker. What did we like about this dealership? Very friendly personnel & atmosphere, no pressure, willing to deal, just the car style we were looking for, lots of added services to new car buyers, a 2011 car, & after purchase a complete tour & introduction of all personnel & the facility. We really never had such a pleasant car buying experience. Already we have shared our experience with friends who most likely will stop in to see this dealership in the future. One thing is for sure.
