Warranty Note: In the past, we’ve always turned down the offers of extended warranties, figuring when you’re buying a solid brand like Toyota or Honda, who needs a warranty. However, since Covid brought on the “chip crisis,” we opened our minds a bit. These cars perform some incredible high-tech functions, so when we were presented with a 5-year, add-on warranty covering everything, including all those delicate – and expensive – electronics, we opted in for the first time ever. Had an 8:30am oil change appointment and slow leak in a tire looked at- didn’t hear an update until 2:30pm- was told it would be ready around 3:30-4 and get there at 4 with the van still on the lift. Was told a few more minutes, checked back in and then was told another 30 minutes. We had plans for dinner so I couldn’t wait any longer. Was told they open at 9am the next day, arrive at 9:15 and nobody got there to help check out until 9:30. Just terrible communication and customer service. More
