I was on my way to another dealership when I spotted Infiniti of Clarendon Hills. I decided to stop in and see their inventory of a particular used car I was shopping for. After browsing the lot for a few minutes, Bob walked out and introduced himself. Immediately I was taken aback with his professionalism. I wasted no time in sharing with him what I was looking for and where I was heading, just to find out that the other dealership was owned by the same person. Bob searched his inventory and found two cars that qualified my search criteria, and after test driving both, I settled on one. Bob then made the buying process very easy by offering me a reasonable deal that was not difficult to refuse. As a seasoned salesman, he made sure to explain all the important details on the particular car I decided on, some of which I did not think of asking about. Eventually, I purchased the vehicle and very satisfied with the whole deal. So, from just turning into this dealership by chance, to driving away with a vehicle I have always wanted, the whole process took only a few hours. Did I leave any money on the table? As a car buyer, I might have but I am sure the service aspect of the deal will more than make up for that.... free oil changes, road assistance program, free loaner if car is in shop, etc. Kudos to Bob, I would definitely recommend him and would certainly buy another vehicle from this dealership. It is a kind of rare especially because we are not living in Chicago area and at that time hadn't been to the store. We finally went to this dealer because of this without any hesitation and we indeed received very good service. We went there on a Saturday afternoon, I worried that it is a bit late. But when we arrived, he is already waiting for us. In the store, he explained everything very clearly and if there is any confusion, he asked the technician. We did a test drive before we sign. He explained to us all the details of the paper work and didn't not incur any unexpected charge, the price is exactly the same as we agreed. They allowed us to write a personal check since I was worried that the funds was not available on that day (but in fact it was available eventually). We have followed Mike Harlow and the service staff to Clarendon Hills following their move from the Lisle site - which is actually quite a bit farther from our home. The work was very well done and was completed in a very timely manner. There remains little or no trace of the paint scratches, chipping and paint crackle which necessitated the work. Regarding the price experience this is an overall issue with Infiniti corporate's parts pricing rather than a comment on pricing at this location. More
