We live in Orlando, but found this Hyundai dealer on line. When we emailed them with what we were looking for (2011 Tucson) we got a prompt reply. I live in Jax and I went to St. Augustine to test drive a Toyota Rav4 Limited. The salesman put me in one of the base models (which was about $3000 more than what it was worth)and told me why I didn't need t Toyota Rav4 Limited. The salesman put me in one of the base models (which was about $3000 more than what it was worth)and told me why I didn't need the Limited model. He then quoted the sticker price as the selling price, said there "might" be a mfr. rebate (like he didn't know). I left and went across the street to Hyundai of St. Augustine where I test drove a Santa Fe Limited I'd seen on the internet. I then saw an SE model and knew that was the vehicle I wanted. Josh Davis quoted me a price that was below sticker. I went home, got on the internet and realized the quoted price was below what Edmund's and Kelly BB were showing as invoice. A day and a half later I was back at the dealership where Josh and Jimmy got on the computer and located an SE in the color that I wanted. Even though the sticker on this particular vehicle was a little more than the one which had been on their lot, they stuck with their original quote. Within 48 hours I was driving away in a beautifully detailed Santa Fe with a full tank of gas. I have walked out of dealerships before because I refuse to play the haggling game that most car salesmen seem to expect. Hyundai of St. Augustine spared me that process. The whole experience was professional and painless and dealing with Josh was a pleasure. When the need arises,I hope the service department proves to be the positive experience that the buying process was. More
We worked with two different salesmen over two days. They were both very helpful, knowledgable, and good natured. We looked at a lot of different cars and ended up buying a Sonata Limited at a good price (pe were both very helpful, knowledgable, and good natured. This was as "painless" a new car purchase as I've ever had. From the moment I drove onto the property I was made welcome and treated not only as a customer, but was made to feel as if the staff genuinely had. I well understand that the purpose of any dealership is to sell vehicles, but purchasing a car or truck is often like buying a house; a process combining the customer's wants and needs as well as his/her emotional satisfaction with both the product and the buying process. Hyundai of St. Augustine satisfied all of those needs for me in a totally professional manner often claimed by but seldom found in dealerships, and for that I commend them. The staff, from the General Manager to the Sales Managers and Finance Manager, and finally to the salesman (usually the first point of customer contact in any dealership) pulled NO "tricks", "games" or "slight-of-hand" foolishness that customers have learned to expect from dealership staff, and that was a major breath of "fresh air". I can recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine without ANY reservations, to family, friends and complete strangers alike. They have a good reputation locally, and after my purchasing experience I can well understand why. More

The finance manager on the other hand was quite the opposite.Dana has a horrible attitude.I was not pleased at all with him!He was rude,very short tempered and unprofessional.He kept speaking about how he had other customers in line which made me feel as if I was a second rate customer.I was trying to ask him questions about the paperwork I was signing and he cut me off everytime I tried to speak. I drove from Savannah,GA to purchase my vehicle and would've turned right around and not purchased if it weren't for how nice and personable Josh was. Everyone I met at the dealership except Dana was wonderful.Josh,Wade,Richard from the service dept. and even the gentlemen that detlailed my vehicle were all stand up individuals.I am looking to purchase more vehicles in the near future and would love to come back to the dealership to work with these gentlemen.Unfortunately, Hyundai of St. Augustine will no longer have any of my business because of Dana! This is the 3rd time we have purchased a vehicle from Roosevelt. I can honestly say that each and every time Roosevelt has treated us with honesty and respect. (I hate the price game.) When I dealt with other dealerships, it seems they were always trying to find ways to take advantage of me. I was given good value on my trade in. Hyundai of St. Augustine definitely has the best prices around and the best staff. Everyone you meet is very courteous. Roosevelt knows his business and knows the vehicles. He seems to be 1 step ahead in thinking of things to do for you. He made sure I was very comfortable with the car and its features (did all the setups for me, i.e. bluetooth) especially since it was evening and I wouldn't have any time to get everything ready for my first drive to work the next morning. I have a 50 minute drive and it was fantastic. My husband rode passenger and felt the same way. There is no way we would ever deal with any other dealership and salesman.
