Hyundai of St Augustine

Hyundai of St. Augustine is a wonderful place and we really enjoy doing our business there. We own a Hyundai Sonata and we now are leasing a Hyundai Veloster. We are very happy with both. Our only downfall is the service department when we have brought our Sonata in for service. A few disappointing things in that area, but the Sales Department has been great! I had shopped at another Hyundai dealership close to my home. They made me an offer that I did not feel was fair so when I got home I emailed St. Augustine Hyundai and asked them if it would be to my adva home. Our salesman, Shawn Hays, told me to come on down and he could do much better than the other offer. My husband and I went down and Shawn had three different types of Elantras ready for us to look over. We were very pleased with the Elantra that we picked and the offer was much better than the previous dealership. We were in and out of the dealership, with trading in our former car, within 2 hours. They were very friendly and showed us all the features of the new car and set everything up for us, Bluetooth, etc. We will certainly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Gordon promptly answered my email inquiries and did not bug me with phone sales calls. When I got there he laid out the options and I was able to choose what was best for me without any pressure. We did a significant amount of internet research before going to the dealerships. We visit one other dealer (not a Hyundai dealer), and then to went this Hyundai of St Augustine dealership. During our visit our salesman, Shawn Hays, was great explaining all the features of the 2 cars, how they differed, etc. We also met the General Manager. We told them we still wanted to do more research and they were very nice, didn't make us feel bad for wanting more time, and thanked us for coming in. At home, we continued our research, and decided to go back to Hyundai to test drive a 3rd model, the Genesis. We loved the car and it compared very strongly against the other auto we were considering. Before arriving, we had already decided on our price. They made an offer, which fit right in with our plans, so we completed the purchase. We felt the dealership was very "straight up" with us with minimal "sales pressure". We would recommend this dealership to friends. More

I had been looking at the Sonata for a while so I had decided, based on recommendations and reviews, that was the car I wanted. There was not a moment where I felt that he was being pushy or anything other than genuine. He knew his product well and had a knowledgeable answer for all of our questions. Jack Mcquain handled our financing. He spoke plainly and honestly about all of our options and got us the best deal possible. He had all of the paperwork ready ahead of time and it took no more than 10 minutes from the time we walked into his office until I had the keys in hand. why did I give this dealership a 5 overall ? Honesty and integrity plain and simple. I'll be a return customer for sure. If you live in this area and want a Hyundai, do yourself a favor and see Gordon. It will be well worth the time. More
