We had off and on considered trading in our aging Chrysler mini-van for a compact car and about 18 months ago looked at the Honda Fit. We felt there was some good deals "out there" before the end of 2010. I am an internet and price-shopper and my husband is an emotional buyer who hates to shop. But, bless him, he bore with me. We had even tried the Costco car "deal" at certain dealers. We decided to look first at Honda (we own and love a newer Odyssey) and then look at a Toyota, a Nissen, and on the advice and ownership of two neighbors, a Hyundai ... all compacts. Early this morning I got on internet and checked out government safety ratings. We were surprised to learn the 2011 Hyandai Sonata rated 5 stars on everything even with tougher standards so we decided to JUST test drive one. Then we met Richard. Richard was very knowledgeable and explained the Dealership in St. Augustine does not dicker ... they give a great price up front and that is it ... it was such a pleasant experience compared to other dealerships. We were debating whether to cash in stuff and buy outright, finance or lease and Richard showed us side-by-side the differences. We chose to finance through Hyandai and are proud new owners of a great looking, safe and affordable new Sonata. We highly recommend Richard Roberts as salesperson and, since the Dealership rates as #one in Florida, we are sure our service experience will also be a good one. More

In May 2010 I purchased the Hyundai Sante Fe. I went to this dealership just to test drive the car; not planning on purchasing. Frank Messina was the sales consultant. "No Problem - glad you came in", he said. You must understand I loathe car shopping like 99% of the people out there. So after my test drive, Frank explained how Hyundai of St. Augustine did business - they don't haggle, they put their best price forward and that is it. It is totally a low pressure - honest offer. (And it was a good price too). It was so refreshing. I walked out with the car. Totally shocked and impressed. Oh and by the way I love the car. Nice trim and finish. Great Ride. Very Quiet. Quick acceleration (6 Cylinder). And very good mileage for an SUV. Going 65mph, I can get 29 mpg....3 MPG more than the sticker. More

I came into the St. Augustine Hyundai dealership back in October to just look around and get a ballpark price range on new cars, as well as their pros and cons as compared to other dealership's cars. Frank Messina and I met for about 30 minutes to find a new car for my wife. We reviewed what I was looking for and if we could work out a good deal then we could move forward.
