I have spoken to Paul Smathers couple of times and I felt immediately at ease and comfortable. I have told him we were looking for a specific model,color and trim. He is the real deal and will treat you like a long lost friend. There wasnt any suprise and the price that he sent me for the car was unbeatable!!! Not to mention we had an appointment at 7pm but couldnt get there because of bad weather. Dealership closed at 8pm and we arrived at 830pm. Paul greeted us with a big smile and a car was ready in front of the store! The whole dealership was empty with just Paul and nice finance gentlemen and me and my girlfriend. The whole paperwork took us about 20 minutes! What a great experience. We are very happy with our new 2012 Elantra!! All we can say that Paul simply will exceed your expectation in every way. I spoke with my salesman on the phone several times prior to coming into the dealership, so he already was aware of my expectations and the vehicle I was looking for. I honestly thought that he (or the dealership) would play games with me like other dealerships seem to do so I was pleasantly suprised when the whole process was streamlined, above board, and relatively painless. I would highly recommend this dealership to any of my friends. More

Often times you find yourself faced with having to buy a vehicle that was not planned. I live in Jacksonville and visited the dealerships here and looked at stock. First of all, there was no stock unless you count having to scale a 7 foot fence to see what was behind it. Oh yes, I almost forgot about the phone calls. I spent a lot of time on hold or disconnected. Sometimes they were just rude and said if I wanted to come to the dealership and look around, they would be glad to help me. What happened to customer service? I work in a customer service related field and can only imagine what would happen if I told a potential client to come to my office and look at square footage for a rental home, I would have no customers at all! I was almost ready to give up and just go back to a Toyota. For most of my life, I have always purchased Toyota vehicles. With their recent recalls, I wanted to make sure I purchased a vehicle that I did not have to worry about receiving a recall letter on. I decided to pull up the St Augustine web site on a Sunday afternoon. I called and talked with Paul. Paul explained some of the features and even though he was closing, he took the time to let me know that a White Elantra Limited with Leather was not readily available and I might have to go on a waiting list. He also let me know that he had a Black Elantra Limited and invited me down to take a look at it. After much thought and decision making, on Tuesday morning I decided I would just go to the dealership and visit with Paul and take a look at this car he had. I was not in a position to go on a waiting list. The greatest thing happened before I ever left my office. Paul called me and told me had some good news. He stated that the carrier had come in and they had delivered two white Elantras that the dealership was not expecting. One was an Elantra Limited with leather seats. Needless to say, I was in St. Augustine within two hours and on my way home by 6 p.m. with a brand new car. The entire atmosphere at the St. Augustine dealership made you feel important. I cannot say enough good things about Paul. He is such a great asset to your dealership. Although he had an appointment scheduled, he gladly handed them off to another salesperson and continued on with me. When completion of one customer becomes more important than making multiple sales speaks volumes. I really do love my Elantra Limited. It is so much fun to drive and the leather seats make it easy for me to get in an out of since I do have some muscle issues. I look forward to visiting with everyone when I return for my scheduled maintenance. I would highly recommend the St Augustine Hyundai dealership to anyone who wants to be treated fairly. They work hard to meet your needs on trade in as well as your price expectations on your new vehicle. Customer Service is alive and well at the St. Augustine Hyundai dealership. Our salesman, Walter Brooks was not pushey & very knowledgeable about the cars. It was very nice to have a salesman you can talk to and not have him push try to push you in to buying before you are r knowledgeable about the cars. I drove over 70 miles to visit Hyundai of St. Augustine, and after dealing with their excellent service, I would have been happy to drive twice as far. When I first contacted the dealership, their contact was friendly and helpful. This service continued as I went through the process of purchasing a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. Roosevelt was professional and didn't engage in any of the annoying and tiresome sales tactics that are too common in car sales. He was funny, friendly, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine, and for even more of a sure bet, ask for Roosevelt! More

I was prepared for an hour and it took 10 minutes. Bought a used saturn outlook and spoke with the gentleman(Jimmy) who looked over the service work-very straightforward. David was to the point and honest with the pricing. Jimmy in finance was very cordial and offered all the pertinent questions. They all took it a step further when the deal was done to direct us to a local mexican restaurant they frequented often. Needless to say that was also a treat as we had family with us. Great food and service and an extra step of customer service to show their appreciation they also notified the restaurant via Wade about our recent purchase and was offered a free dessert. They said the dealership was small, but I've gotten big service from them so far. More
