Holl2305, My sincere apologies for the level of service you received from my staff regarding the trade appraisal and value of your vehicle. Thank you for providing us candid feedback. We use the Autotrader.com Trade-In marketplace to get an independent, third party analysis and value for the vehicles our guests wish to trade in or sell to us. This analysis only works when our vehicle consultants and managers follow the correct process to carefully inspect the vehicle with the guest present before entering it into Autotrader's system. This allows the system to take into account the actual condition of the vehicle versus a verbal description of poor/fair/good/excellent. Unfortunately in this case, the sales consultant and manager did not follow this process, thus the difference in value on your vehicle. I have already met with my management staff regarding this situation and to re-enforce the importance of the sales consultant physically reviewing the vehicle condition with the guest present.
