I was looking to purchase a good, clean used automobile and I saw a 2010 Nissan Versa online at the USAA auto site. I contacted Hyundai of Saint Augustine and Mr. Glen Douse and I talked back and forth and and I saw a 2010 Nissan Versa online at the USAA auto site. I contacted Hyundai of Saint Augustine and Mr. Glen Douse and I talked back and forth and finally we came to an agreement on price. I arranged to come in and pay for and pick up the car. I was surprised at the efficiency, respect and honesty of the sales team. There was no pressure and they honored the deal that we had made over the phone without hesitation. I told my son that this was the best dealership and car purchase I had ever made. Not only did they give me a full tank of gas but they made sure that everything was working properly on the car. This experience was so good that next summer when my other son graduates from college, I will return to Hyundai of Saint Augustine to purchase a car for him. I won't bother with any other dealership. Salesperson Roosevelt "Rosie" Ramsubhag was a delight to work with. My initial contact through autotrader.com, for some reason, was not there when we showed up at the dealership to look at was a delight to work with. My initial contact through autotrader.com, for some reason, was not there when we showed up at the dealership to look at the used car. Rosie stepped in and happily showed us the vehicle on the longest and most varied test drive I have ever taken. It's unusual to encounter a salesperson who limits his chatter. I appreciated this because it allowed me to hear the car and pay attention to the things about the car that mattered to me. Rosie even offered to put the car up on a lift so that I could personally inspect the car from below. That was helpful. Yes, the car was not perfect despite a clean Carfax (new pinstripes on the rear door and an unhooked lock mechanism belied previous damage) but the price was right. Rosie's followup was also textbook perfect -- he even made a trip to the previous owner of the car to retrieve the 2nd key (which probably saved me $150). I made several phone calls after the sale about a mix up in the finance office that resulted in me not receiving my tag and title until after the temporary tag had expired. The finance office screwed up but Rosie, again, came to the rescue and expedited a resolution. That was refreshing. I also appreciated the personal response to my e-mails by the owner Andrew Difeo. The only negative (so far because I have not yet visited the service department) that I can think of is that although Hyundai of St Augustine does make good on their promise of a $30 gift card if you come test drive a car, they did not honor the free iTunes card offer that they made as well. I imagine that there is some kind of glitch in their autotrader.com marketing that is making two free gift card offers while they only intend on honoring one. Otherwise, I was happy to patronize a local St Johns County dealer, and this was a good one. I will certainly consider Hyundai of St Augustine first when I buy my next car. More

This is my third purchase from Hyundai of St. Augustine, and this time around I purchased 2 cars from the dealership on Saturday 12/15/12, a 2012 for my wife and a 2013 for me. Joey Cassata is a low pres and this time around I purchased 2 cars from the dealership on Saturday 12/15/12, a 2012 for my wife and a 2013 for me. Joey Cassata is a low pressure salesperson who paid close attention to my desires and requirements. I had been communicating with him for a few days via e-mail, and I had taken the time to outline what I needed and knew I could afford. When we arrived, Joey met us outside before we had stepped out of our respective cars, and remembered me from my previous purchases with him. He proceeded to show me what was available followed by several test drives. By the time we settled on the cars we desired, the process went smoothly. When it was all said and done, we spent a little more than 4 hours at the dealership but it didn't feel that way. Kudos to Joey on his professionalism and customer service skills, I look forward to continuing to do business in the near furture with him and Hyundai of St. Augustine. Thank you. More
