We were in the market for a used vehicle so the first dealership I went to was Hyundai of St. Augustine as I'm a local resident. I found a vehicle that I liked, but being that it has been 7 years since I purchased a car, I decided to shop around. After 3 days of intense looking and speaking with the typical "greasy car salesman", we decided to go back to Hyundai of St. Augustine. Eddy and his finance manager stayed after hours to ensure we got the deal we wanted. I can honestly say we were treated like family. What a refreshing feeling!! Eddy knew more about the Hyundai Sante Fe than anyone I spoke with at other dealerships. He was the consumate professional. Thank you so much for actually making this car buying experience an enjoyable one! More
Eddy Hackney was the difference. We really weren't interested in the Hyundai product until after leaving the Toyota dealer next door and stopping at the Hyundai dealership across the street. We had a really good experience with St.Augustine Hyundai and would recommend them to others! We couldn't decide on a Santa Fe or a Sonata, so we visited the dealership several times for test drives. Randy helped us each time,and took time with us and had lots of patience!He never pressured us, like at some dealerships we had experienced. When we finally made our decision on the Santa Fe,we dealt with Ryne, the internet manager and Andrew,the general manager, through the internet.This saved us time and we were very pleased with the deal that we got, and how competitive their pricing was. When we got to the dealership,Ryne was waiting outside to greet us, and had all of the paperwork completed before we came in. He helped us through the whole transaction, which was very quick. Andrew was also waiting to greet us, and from talking to him we were able to see that he really takes pride in his business, and wants to put the customer first! Everyone we dealt with was so friendly, helpful,and low pressure at this dealership that we are looking forward to bringing our car back for service, so we can say hello to them again. The employees were friendly, courtesy and respectful. We received great service, a quality vehicle at a great price that was within our budget. They won mine. Andrew goes out on a limb and commits hundreds of thousands of dollars to build an inventory of low mileage Hyundai Azera Limited's turned in from sales reps around the country. A $30,000 car with 7,000 miles shows up for $20,000. Not one, but seven to choose from. The situation, the price, the quality of the people all came together to convice me to buy when I was really just shopping around. Stop by and see Andrew or Eddy and see what they can do for you. After almost 30 years dealing with car dealerships I am happy to say this is the first time that we went to a dealership where we felt we had a great experience. From the time Randy first walked up to us happy to say this is the first time that we went to a dealership where we felt we had a great experience. From the time Randy first walked up to us to the signing of the contract Randy showed a true interest in our daughter, who was buying the car, and treated her with understanding and respect. Even though we were going as "the parents", to make sure our 26 year old daughter received a good deal, Randy acknowledged our daughter as the buyer and that was very nice to see. The other dealerships really did not pay attention to her but to us because they knew if they did not please us then we would not let her buy a car from them and that was not the way to do business. Randy worked very hard to get her in the car and at no time did he use coercion or used "pretty words" to push her in making a decision. I would recommend Randy to any of my friends and family and we will probably be back when we are ready for a new car. I also wanted to mention and thank the Fiance manager, who I'm sorry to say i did not get his name, for all his hard work in finalizing the contract and getting our daughter in her car. The whole experience with Hyundai of St. Augustine was great and I would drive all the way out there again and again, we live in Jacksonville, just to deal with them. Thanks guys!!! More
My wife and I were looking for a new car. We have owned many Kias in the last 5 years. We were looking to trade in my wifes 2004 Sorrento. We looked at the optima at family Kia of St augustine, although we have purchased a couple of cars at Family kia, because of a managenent change we did not like how we were treated there. we then Thaught of Hyundai, which happend to be right across the street from Family Kia. When we stopped there we were greeted by a young man named Miles Mclean. He was extremley polite and very knowledgable about all of the cars and their features. He was a pleasure to do business with and I would recomend him to anybody who is shopping for a new car. Then it came to my attention that the sales manager was Jimmy Feleciano whom I have had the pleasure to do business with when he worked at Family Kia. He was able to put together a grest deal for us,just as he has in the past. When I met the service manager i could not beleive that it was Kirk Guiolette who also worked at Family Kia and did an astounding job there as well. Jimmy Felliacio, Miles Mclean & Kirk Gioulette are a great asset to have at Kia of St Augustine And i look forward to many years of working with them. Sincerely Daniel P Happel More
