My buying experience at this dealership was very positive. They matched my expectations regarding the characteristics of the car I was looking for as well as the price I was willing to pay for it. positive. David met me about 35 minutes away as I needed to drop my previous lease vehicle at a different dealership. He had the car I called about ready and went over everything with me. The paperwork was right on wh previous lease vehicle at a different dealership. He had the car I called about ready and went over everything with me. The paperwork was right on what he said so we didn't need to re-hash anything and it went smoothly. Andrew came out and introduced himself which I thought was nice since he's the owner and talked a bit about the car and the dealership. I got a warm feeling from everyone there and would recommend the dealership to others. More

MY WIFE AND I SET OUT TO LEASE A NEW CAR IN THE ST. AUGUSTINE AREA. AFTER VISITING ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WE WERE NOT HAPPY SINCE THEY COULD NOT MEET THE FINANCIAL NEEDS WE REQUIRED. AFTER LEAVNG THERE WE AUGUSTINE AREA. AFTER VISITING ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WE WERE NOT HAPPY SINCE THEY COULD NOT MEET THE FINANCIAL NEEDS WE REQUIRED. AFTER LEAVNG THERE WE ASSUMED THAT OUR SEARCH TO FIND WHAT WE NEEDED WAS GOING TO BE A LONG ONE. AFTER A SHORT TIME WE NOTICED THE HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP IN ST. AUGUSTINE SO WE DECIDED TO PULL IN TO SEE WHAT WE COULD DO THERE. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN TO THE TIME WE LEFT WE WERE TREATED AS THOUGH WE WERE THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER. OUR SALESMAN RONALD COPELAND BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO TRY TO MEET OUR NEEDS(even gave us fruit bars and water).WE TRIED OUT SEVERAL CARS AND FINALLY SETTLED ON THE SONATA. THEN RON AND JIMMY FELICIANO(SALES MGR)WORKED HARD TO REACH OUR REQUIRED FINANCIAL NEEDS. WE FINALLY WERE ABLE TO REACH THAT NEED AND WE GOT MORE IN THE CAR WE LEASED THAN WE EXPECTED. EVERYONE WE DEALT WITH WAS FRIENDLY AND EXPLAINED EVERY DETAIL OF THE TRANSACTION AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS. THIS WAS A VERY PLEASENT EXPERIENCE FOR US AND WE LOVE THE CAR. IF YOU CAN'T BUY A QUALITY CAR HERE THEN YOU CAN'T BUY A CAR ANYWHERE IN OUR OPINION. More
I had to think about this but I have purchased 9 new vehicles ranging from small 2 door cars to large SUV's as well as 11 new motorcycles in my lifetime. I have mainly owned Ford's and Harley Davidson vehicles ranging from small 2 door cars to large SUV's as well as 11 new motorcycles in my lifetime. I have mainly owned Ford's and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Each trip to purchase a new vehicle or motorcycle was never pleasant because no matter how much research I did, I always wondered the next day if I got a good deal. Upon the recommendation of my brother, who has owned many different types of vehicles, I decided to test drive his Hyundai Sante Fe 4 cylinder. It was approximately 100 degrees out and there were 3 adults in the vehicle with the a/c on. I was amazed at the power and response from the vehicle. I went on the Internet and emailed St. Augustine Hyundai and was impressed to get an email back from the owner who I knew from his other dealerships in New Jersey. I did some research and compared Fords 3/36 to Hyundai's 10/100 warrantee. I went to Ford where I have purchased most of my other vehicles as well as where we get our fleet vehicles from. They could not beat the warrantee but offered my an extended service plan at additional cost. I will admit it was hard to leave the dealership I had purchased almost all of my vehicles from. I do not buy a vehicle on my first trip to the dealer but this time it was different. I went to St. Augustine Hyundai of a Friday evening and test drove a few vehicles. I selected the one I liked and got the price. I was shown the dealers tissue and the amount taken off the MSRP and then the rebates that would be applied. I was also given the trade in price for my Ford Escape. I asked for a slightly higher trade in amount to offset my final price and it was given to me. I bought the vehicle that night and picked it up the following Sunday. It should be noted that I did not intend on financing the vehicle but because of 0/36 financing, I did and received an additional $500.00 rebate. On top of the great price I got, one has to factor in the free oil changes and roadside assistance that the dealer offers inclusive in the price. When I took delivery of my new Sante Fe, it was detailed to perfection. I could not find anything about the condition that was less than perfect. I have owned the vehicle for approximately 6 weeks now and have a little over 1,400 miles on it. On a trip from Florida to New Jersey I got 25.9 miles per gallon average in the economy mode running with a/c on the entire distance. There is not one thing I do not like about my Sante Fe Limited. It is made in America, the warrantee is great and I doubt if anyone can get a better price when the rebates and discounts are factored in. This is the first time I have not woke up with buyers remorse the next day wondering "what if." Andrew, Kyle, Wade and the finance person were great to deal with and I will remain a loyal customer from this point on. More
Great dealership. No pressure sales or hounding. Great walkthru of new car. Extremely easy process. We've purchased new cars here before and will continue to stay with them because of their practices. walkthru of new car. Extremely easy process. I deliberately waited at least 60 days before writing this review because I did not want to be influenced by the tremendous euphoria of buying a new car. I wanted to give it just a little time in case s this review because I did not want to be influenced by the tremendous euphoria of buying a new car. I wanted to give it just a little time in case some issues with the car developed in the ensuing days immediately after purchase thus enabling me to see how the dealership would handle any problems/issues so here goes. At 60 years old I have purchased many new cars in three different states and my buying experiences has ranged from very poor to excellent with this most recent Hyundai purchase being the best yet. The first time stepped on the car lot I was greeted in a very helpful but not overbearing manner. From the very beginning the salesman, Kyle, actually seemed to listen to me rather than probing to ascertain how much money I had to spend. Kyle was the only salesman I interacted with so I cannot speak about the style of the others but one of the things about Kyle I appreciated was that he did not try to push me into higher end models and/or additional options. Kyle's follow-up in the days following my first contact, to purchase was excellent and very helpful and at no time did I feel pushed into making the purchase with tactics like, we can do this deal but it has to be now. Obviously, when he could see that I was ready to commit he moved to close the deal. Kyle's follow-up in the days/week after the sale were excellent. One thing I really appreciated about this dealership was the fact that all of the new cars were already discounted a bit off MSRP with no additional dealer add-ons, rebates, weekend blowouts or other carnival style tactics. I believe the final price I paid was fair and good. I would imagine that some may have paid more than I and some less but I believe that my deal was reasonable and fair for both parties. You always hear about someone getting a deal for less but you never know the circumstances. There was a bit of negotiating at the end but not to the point of irritation and I was never pushed by the salesman saying "we can do this if you do it now" I never felt as if I was being pressured. And now comes the business/finance guy. I have heard so many downright horror stories and unpleasant customer experiences at this stage at car dealerships in general. My experience with this individual at Hyundai of St. Augustine was very business like. It was obvious that this individual was very competent, accurate and very fast and while he did try to sell me other services like extended warranty and/or service programs it was done in a very passive and informative manner and at no time did I feel like I was being hustled. In retrospect I do think he could have been a little more friendly and personable but the business people at car dealerships are notoriously dry at least from my experience. The first 60 days of ownership have been 100% problem free so I cannot evaluate the service department regarding service after the sale but a day or so after delivery I did notice that the IPod cable was missing but was told to come right down and pick one up which I did. When I went to pick up the IPod cable I could not find the salesman, Kyle, so I asked a gentleman in the Showroom area for assistance and after a couple of inquires the cable was brought to me. I asked for his name to thank him and to my surprise it was Andrew Difeo the owner of the dealership. I was invited into his office where we had a very pleasant conversation for close to 45 minutes. During the last several weeks I have had some interaction with one of the Service Managers with a few basic service questions and the Parts Department to purchase an accessory and found both to be helpful and friendly. In conclusion, my experience with this purchase has been the best yet of all the cars I have purchased and all the dealerships I have dealt with. Friendly, yes and helpful but not to the point of being overbearing and best of all, no high pressure sales tactics or gimmicks. I have held mid to high level management positions my entire life and I know that leadership starts from the top and does not happen by accident so I congratulate and applaud Mr. Difeo for the sales and service environment he has created. Would I buy a car from them again? YES, Absolutely Would I recomment this dealership to others? YES, Absolutely Sincerely More
Great experience buying a Sonata Limited with Roosevelt and Randy. They had the exact car we wanted with a great price, easy transaction and had the car ready when promised. They even offered to deliver th and Randy. They had the exact car we wanted with a great price, easy transaction and had the car ready when promised. They even offered to deliver the car to my home. The dealership was busy with the sales people all waiting on customers or busy at there desk versus the other dealerships we shopped with the salesmen all standing around smoking (disgusting). Would we recommend this dealership? you bet! If the car is as good as the dealership we will definately be back for another car. If you want friendly, knowledgeable, and professional Sales people see Randy or Rosie for a great buying experience...Doug More

TWO DEALERS WERE IN OUR AREA, AND WE DEC GLS IRIDESCENT BLUE-PEARL, AND HAD DONE MUCH RESEARCH ONLINE BEFORE SELECTING A DEALER AND INVENTORY STOCKS. TWO DEALERS WERE IN OUR AREA, AND WE DECIDED ON ST. AUG. WE RECEIVED THE MOST PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD BY DEALING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, IN PARTICULAR WITH OUR SALESMAN, PAUL SMATHERS.
