Chris ("Bird") and Matt worked very hard to fit me into a 2013 Elantra GT. I was extremely happy and impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and the friendly treatment I recieved. Althoug me into a 2013 Elantra GT. I was extremely happy and impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and the friendly treatment I recieved. Although I feel I probably could have negotiated a slightly better deal at a handful of other Hyundai dealerships in Florida using the Costco Auto Purchasing Program, it was not worth my trouble or the expense to travel to the nearest participating dealership in Orlando to save a few bucks. I will recommend your dealership to anyone who asks me for my opinion on a new Hyundai purchase. More
This is likely the longest review I've authored. All well deserved... I've stopped into the Hyundai lot several times over the past year, to check out a few vehicle that caught my eye in passing. I well deserved... I've stopped into the Hyundai lot several times over the past year, to check out a few vehicle that caught my eye in passing. I usually speak with Matt Lowry, however, when Matt has been unavailable, I've had the pleasure chatting with several other sales people, each were always informative and friendly. I never felt undue pressure from Matt or any of the others, which is the exact reason I felt comfortable enough to stop by Hyundai of St. Augustine time and time again, yet never returned to certain nearby competitors. Matt always appeared to do be doing "his job"; bringing me inside, following up via phone and/or email, however, always did so in a professional and palatable manner. When dropping by to check out the Honda, I was greeted by Matt and asked him a few questions about the vehicle. Matt then offered a test drive. Roughly about 15 minutes later I returned to say that I'd like to buy it, pending a mechanical inspection. The ease of my quick decision to give my business to your company, was the direct result of all of the aforementioned positive customer experiences. "Kudos" to Matt, staff and management for ensuring such a pleasant experience. In the end, when all was said and done, I am positive that I "left money on the table" both in price and back-end finance profits for the dealership. I bought my 2012 Hyundai Sonata at Hyundai of St. Augustine. I can honestly say that I was fortunate to have Joey as the SslesRep I have to deal with. With all the Bells and whistles of the Sonata, the electronic savy guy Joey, not only explain all the features of the car but paired my Ipad and Cell phones for blue tooth operation into the car's electronic system. When we walked into your St. Augustine Dealership and met Joseph Cassata, we were impressed by his politeness and the no pressure salesmanship, which he always demonstrated. It took us 624 days to finally make up our minds ( no fault of Joey's ) about buying a Hyundai Tuscan. During that time we had to help our family with the vehicles we were using and could not buy any new autos. Joey endured with us and was always available to answer our many questions during that time and never made us feel like we where bothersome to him. We took so long to buy, that Joey was married during his long wait.....lol My wife and I, had made up our minds that if we ever bought a new vehicle, it had to be through Joey....He had earned our trust and respect. Normally,very few people are faithful and stick to their salesman. But, we differ., our son is a salesman and we know what these men go through to make a sale. Our experience with their Finance Director Eddie Brooks, went smoothly and much better than we anticipated, he did everything in his power to get us a great interest rate and affordable financing.......The man knows his business!!! I was in the marked for an suv and I was reading up on dealership ratings and ran across Edmunds and had seen an amazing rating for Hyundai of St. Augustine, it was highly rated 5 out of 5 stars. I also remembered that one of the people that I work with was just telling me of his experience with the same dealership and he had nothing but good things to say about them, so I decide to drive the 55 mile trip to give them a try. The sales person at Hyundai in St. Augustine was someone that you felt like you could trust and was very comfortable to sit down and go over the trade with and not feel defensive. That is absolutly the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle, including the contracting office. Straight as it gets. If you are shopping and comparing it is worth the trip to make that your best buying experience you will ever have. This dealership deserves the 5 star rating and then some. My daughter and I leased a 2013 Elantra from Andrew DiFeo at Hyundai of St. Augustine under as difficult circumstances as I could imagine. Ali was moving to Sarasota from California, never having been in Fl at Hyundai of St. Augustine under as difficult circumstances as I could imagine. Ali was moving to Sarasota from California, never having been in Florida before, unsure if she'd be there for longer than 9 months, and arriving the evening before starting her job. We didn't know if we should ship her old VW there, help her buy an older used car, a newer used car, or buy or lease a new car. And what would be reliable and reasonably priced? By chance we met Andrew's uncle on a vacation trip in Maine, and he recommended contacting his nephew in St. Augustine. Andrew walked us through the costs and pros and cons of each of the possibilities - including shipping our own car and not buying from him at all - and gave us email quotes (price and financing/monthly payment) on 3 different scenarios (certified 2011, 2008, new 2013 - before we finally made our decision. His price for a new Elantra was better than anything we had encountered in our area and he found the best leasing (Hyundai Finance, as it turned out). But what was more important, our work with him made us confident that he had our best interests in mind and that we could trust him. He also made everything happen easily - emailing necessary information and forms, FedExing purchasing and financing documents - so that Ali's car met her in Sarasota the day after she arrived. What felt impossible to figure out ended up being easy, and she loves her car - plans to keep it forever, she says.
