What also turned the experience even better was when I stopped by to ask a question in the service dept, I recognized Debbie who was at Honda before and when I went to Honda, I loved dealing with her b/c she was so effecient and the only one that kept the customer up to date on what was going on with the car instead of just "leaving them " sitting there for an hour with no acknowledgement. I often watched her as I am big in customer service at my job and thought, "wow, hard to find people like her"! So I was so happy to see she was now at Hyundai! You couldn't get any better as far as I am concerned! Honda's loss but a big gain for Hyundai Corp! We (my wife and I) were only just beginning our search for the purchase of a new vehicle. This was the second dealer we stopped into (and the first Hyundai dealer). Our salesman was very knowledgeable abo for the purchase of a new vehicle. This was the second dealer we stopped into (and the first Hyundai dealer). Our salesman was very knowledgeable about all details and answered every question we posed in helping us make the proper selection of vehicle and equipment for us. We were looking to lease the vehicle and both he and the dealership tailered all aspects (including cash down we wanted) to our requirements for this sale. They had a large inventory of cars and were able to provide the car and equipment level we chose, and made delivery the same day. With such a pleasant and easy experience, and our delight with the vehicle, there was no need to keep looking for either a different vehicle or a different dealer. We completed the purchase right then and there. Since this is a new vehicle to us, we have not had experience with their maintenance department. So our rating of customer service reflects only on the sales department so far. We handed over the keys to the vehicle we drove onto the lot and left with the vehicle we purchased. A very easy delightful buying experience. More
