I am a big internet user. I did a search for 2011 Hyundai Sonatas. I came across a bunch of dealer sites but St. Augustine came to my attention because they actually listed their cars online (inventory). The Sonatas. They have an easy to use website and I was able to search through the inventory. I requested a quote and Frank Messina responded quickly with a great upfront prices on a few trims I was interested in. This was the reason why my wife and I went with them. Frank was very helpful in answering our questions. He found the car we wanted and even opened our eyes to the SE navigation feature on the car. He showed use how to use all the features in the car and made sure we were satisfied. He made our car buying experience really easy. He took care of us. I highly recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine. Decided after buying a 1998 Tahoe in 2003 and driving it for the last 8 years that a 13 year old vehicle just wasn't going to cut it any longer (especially after replacing the fuel pump last Saturday for $6 for the last 8 years that a 13 year old vehicle just wasn't going to cut it any longer (especially after replacing the fuel pump last Saturday for $698! Got on the internet on Monday and started looking and Sedans in the mid 20K range and narrowed my choice down to Toyota Camry or Honda Accord....until I discovered the Hyundai Sonata. It beats the pants off both of the previous cars, so I had to drive one. I discovered that Hyundai of St. Augustine which is a 30 minute drive from me had the biggest Hyundai inventory in North Florida so although there were other dealers nearer to me, I took the drive with my 5 year old. I met up with Joey Cassata last night after scheduling a test drive on their website through live chat on Monday Night. Joey was in a word, awesome. He was not pushy, he listened (which is very important to me, he asked good questions and he new the answer to every question I asked about the Sonata. After sitting with him and Jimmy Feliciano the sale manager, they ran my credit and determined that I was about a 90% certainty to get a great 3.9% on the car (despite him saying that they could have locked me in at 8.2 right there and then. So they let me take the car home for the night and Joey called me at 10am this morning to say that I was approved for the lower APR and to come back this evening and sign the papers. I showed up tonight at 6.30 and he Joey took the car from me right away to have it detailed, we went in and signed the papers which were all in order and exactly what we had discussed in person and on the phone. The entire process last night including test drive took and hour and 30 minutes and then another 45 minutes today signing papers and going over the cars features etc. I have bought probably 7 or 8 cars in the last 18 years and this was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had. They got me the car I wanted, at an APR that was better than I thought I could qualify for and I never once felt like I was being pressured or hustled into anything. Thank You to Joey for being really good at his job and thank you to Jimmy for doing what he said he was pretty sure he could do, which was get me a great APR. I went to Hyundai of St. Augustine just to test drive a car. The quality of the car combined with the excellent customer service I decided not to go anywhere else. I purchased a new Sonata. New to St. Augustine we checked out all the car dealers along US1 in the hope of finding a more practical car than the sebring convertible we brought with us. We came back and forth for a week...while also looking at cars on other lots. He was extreemly helpful without being pushy. He also was very knowledgable about not only the hyundai but the other previously owned vehicles on his lot. The owner and manager were also very nice. Hyundai of St. Augustine comes highly recommended to anyone looking for a new or previously owned vehicle. More

As of last Saturday, 1/22/11, I actively started looking for a car. I started off at Coggin Honda of St. Augustine, but they were not able to accommodate my needs. In addition, I kind of felt as though I was being pressured into "making a deal". I had to leave and I said I would contact them the next day. They contacted me and we went back and forth with numbers, but it still didn't work and then they used the "well, there's another salesman working with someone else on the car that you liked". I told them to give it to them. On Sunday, 1/23/11, I decided to go to Hyundai because I REALLY liked the look of the new Sonata and was curious as to how it drove. I was greeted by Demetrius Davis and he helped me find the model that would fit into my budget. I didn't even have to turn the key to know that I really liked the feel and look of the interior. Demetrius took me on a test drive and after that, I was hooked. He was more than patient with me because I really didn't know what color I wanted. With him I never felt rushed, pressured, nor did I feel like he was getting "tired" of me. I apologized several times because I was tired of ME. (ha ha). While talking price, we were referred to Jimmy Feliciano, and he tried to get the payoff value from Toyota. He had no luck, so he said he would call me on Monday. We told him we didn't want to go over a certain amount and he worked with us every step of the way. After we decided to purchase the vehicle, we went back on Thursday to pick it out. Now I had to find another color, because I changed my mind on the color I had originally picked out. Demetrius was MORE than helpful and patient while he contacted another dealer to find the color I liked. That didn't work out, so I decided on the Black Plum Pearl instead. On Friday, 1/28/11, I went to pick up my car. It was waiting for me as I arrived and when I touched it, it felt rough, not that smooth "just waxed" feeling. I brought it to the attention of Demetrius and he in turn showed Wade. Wade agreed and sent it back to be re-detailed. He said it was going to be a while, so they offered me a loaner vehicle to go about my day. When I came back, I saw Tinsley and he took me back to my car. The hood still felt funny and he let me stay with him while he clay-barred the hood again. He wasn't going to let me leave until he knew I was happy. As a matter of fact, I may be looking for an additional vehicle in August before my daughter goes to college and I will check with Hyundai of St. Augustine before I go anywhere else. You have a very large selection. The salesman (Paul smathers)was very nice and listened to what we wanted not what he thought we should buy like some places do. They gave me what I wanted to hear. Then I went to 2 other dealerships. KIA and Chev they were not as helpfull and the price had so many hidden cost. I went back and bought my car for Hyundai.
