This is by far the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. I have a fleet of cars and deal with a lot of different dealers on a regular basis. This place just don't have a care for human life. I can honestly say I will not be dealing with this dealer ship ever again. It sickens me that I took a running car here that needed a motor, we get a brand new motor and the car runs worse then when I dropped it off. The women who was handling this told me when I went to pick up the car that they test drove it around the parking lot, (WHO DOES THAT??) and that it had a little less horse power then what it use to have. Paid the $200 required deposit got in the car and as I pulled out of the parking lot hit the gas and it had no power, no acceleration and almost got me into an accident. I got back into the dealership and was told they would look at it. I was then called and told that it had an additional issue and a the whole front end of the car is out of whack, that wasn't there when we dropped it off and it wouldn't be covered or taken care of by Hyundai. I'm sad to say that the women I dealt with seemed like I was just another figure for Hyundai and not a human. I guess all she cared about was the $9000 dollar warranty and the hefty pay day she would receive from that. More
I came on 02/11/24 with one thing in mind. Hyundai of New Port Richey They advertised a used car for $23,900 on their website. By the time I test drove and waited for the final price, the cost of the car came back at $30,800. That is a $6,900 increase or 30%!!! Everyone should expect hidden costs such as tax, dealer fees, title, tags, etc. But on a car advertised at $23,900 these should be nominal costs.... maybe up to 15% of total value. That is expected and normal by most people's standards. BUT, 30% is a big problem. 30% indicates Bait and Switch or illegal fraud. 30% indicates someone trying to take gross financial advantage of someone else, which is completely shameful especially at this price point. 30% is just dishonest, immoral, and unethical. And I learned from the Sales Manager named Charlie that the pricing was not a mistake. He admitted to the bait and switch tactic saying that they needed to compete with other dealers in the area that do the same thing. Are things that bad for this huge dealership that they have to use illegal tactics to get people in the door? Complete waste of 2 hours of my time today. Btw, I have full documentation with photos. The false ad is still up taking advantage of people. No two sides of this story, no alternative facts today. Just a big dealership exhibiting pooooor behavior! Buyer Beware! Buying a vehicle is uncomfortable for most people. The cost alone is stressful and we all second guess whether it is the right one for our needs and the right one for our pocket book. Chris Lacroix made our search and buying experience about as pleasant as it could be. He listened and understood our needs and matched us to a vehicle that fit like a glove. He worked to make the cost affordable for us and kept us informed as to when it was available for pickup. When we took delivery, he carefully demonstrated all the amenities on the car and encouraged us to take advantage of all the perks the car had to offer. Ron in finance was a delight as well. He assisted us in maximizing our avenues to complete the purchase. He provided a kit of car maintenance products without cost to keep our vehicle looking new. All in all, Chris and Ron made the experience of the purchase of our Buick Enclave a pleasure and I highly recommend them when you need their services, More
False advertising to say the absolute least. The car I was looking at was advertised at $28000. Then there was dealer fees at $1295 which were expected however online they were $1199. $100 not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Here’s the fun part. There is a $1995 Permaplate warranty thing that is “non negotiable” which is a protection against scratches and other paint issue on the car that again, you cannot opt out of. For a grand total of $36300. $8000 over what was advertised online basically because $5000 was just magically added because the dealer just wanted to. I understand it’s going to be over advertised price with taxes and the dealer fees but $1995 for a “non negotiable” add on that isn’t necessary and $2995 over the advertised price just because they want to is hilarious. Also, highly suggest not using Garland as your sales representative. Had an attitude from the beginning of talking to him and when asked a question about the car he responded with “I told you outside” or “I already mentioned that.” Solid sales tactics. Not at all impressed with the dealership and would never go back for any reason. More
