A month after getting my car, I got into an accident and it got totaled. While I was devistated about the loss of my car, I was also relieved because I could now go elsewhere to get a car. That is where Planet Hyundai comes into play. A few years prior, I had gotten an Accent from Efrain, and as soon as I walked up, he said hi, asked how I was doing and all that good stuff. I was surprised he had remembered me after 2 years. So we sat down, I told him the situation, and told him my exact criteria for the car I want. Within a matter of minutes he drives up with the exact car I wanted. And from there, everything else was smooth sailing. Everyone we talked to was super friendly. Definitely will continue to choose Planet Hyundai. More

In my review I did explain how I was at fault for not doing my home work and allowing the sham to take place. But, apparently Anthony did read the review and called to see how he could make things right. I already installed my accessory (home link mirror) at my own expense and used the vendor Anthony said performed all these installs for the dealership. On the phone Anthony said they would split the cost with me per his manager. I found that equitable knowing it was probably the best I could expect. However, while en route to the dealership to accept this offer on Tues 02/10/15, my home link mirror stopped working. I'm now concerned the vendor may have messed up my wiring voiding my warranty. I let Anthony know as soon as I arrived and he took the car to the service dept or so I thought! He informed me that he would order the new mirror and he would call on Fri 02/13/15 to have it installed (unless the part didn't arrive.) Well, none of that ever happened. I waited until 4 o'clock on Monday the 17th and no call from Anthony! So I finally called his manager (Bobby). After being berated by Bobby for 5 minutes telling me what a great deal I got and what was I complaining about, I finally was able to interrupt him and explain that they called me to make things right, all I did was answer my phone! All I was concerned about at this moment is if he was going to honor the deal that was agreed upon last Tuesday. After placing me on hold for a few minutes, he told me to bring the car in on Tuesday 02/18/2015, and that everything is scheduled and they would even give me a loaner. Well I thought the kaos would finally end on Tuesday. However, when I arrived on Tuesday in the service dept they had no idea what I was talking about. I told them that Anthony bought my car here last week to check out the mirror and the service dept knew all about the repair. They informed me it was never bought into the service dept that day or any day about a mirror issue. So I called Bobby on his cell phone telling him I was at the service dept with my car and there's a problem. His response was "why didn't you bring to me first!" I replied I just assumed the service dept was doing it so I went strait there. By then the service manager John Luse was involved. I explained my plight to him and he said was never contacted about any of this. I saw Bobby standing inside the service offices, but things had taken a ugly turn and he never came out to talk with me. (Smart move) That was all I needed to know about this deal. By this time, I realized I've been scammed by the sales team once again. I have no idea what they were up to, but it's obvious none of this was run through proper channels. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a salesman. Even though John Luse (service manager) went above and beyond to help me out, he shouldn't have to clean up the mess from the sales dept. I can't not throw enough accolades on his performance. I'll say it again, this was my 4th new Hyundai since 2001 and the last from this dealership. The borderline shady behavior of those two employees is almost unbelievable. But, the service manager is the best in the game. I'll bring my car for repairs anytime. I doubt the upper management cares about these two as long as they sell cars no matter how its done. Even with all this craziness requiring the service dept to clean up the mess. I received no phone calls from anyone at the top of the food chain. That tells me they endorse poor behavior. My advice buy somewhere else! To show how clueless Anthony is, he sends me email wanting to assist me with trading in my 2011 Hyundai.. I was floored! More

As it turns out they were never brought in the loop at all. However, once I explained my issue and how poorly it was handled by my salesman, service manager John Luse took over. He listened to our concerns and went above and beyond to make things right. In less than 30 minutes he coordinated our repair, put us in a loaner and we were on way home. He said he'd call us by 5 to let us know how the repair was going. True to his word at 4:45 he let us no our car was ready and we could pick it up anytime. That's all we expect as consumers. Just be honest with us. John has won my business for all my car repairs. He should be training all Customer Service managers in the internet sales dept. More
