The sales staff, and I mean everyone we came in contact with during the day, was very professional and very helpful in our decision making. The quality of the Santa Fe and changes that have been made to the design were what really made up our minds to look into purchasing one. And after the test drive we took, was more than sold on the Santa Fe. We are looking forward to many years driving the Santa Fe and working with the service staff to keep our Santa Fe in top working condition. Very distasteful experience Before I write my review, I should clarify that I have owned two Hyundais and have leased two others. I went to the dealership with the intention of Before I write my review, I should clarify that I have owned two Hyundais and have leased two others. I went to the dealership with the intention of financing a new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Jason and his manager, Parker, ended-up convincing us to go with the leasing option. Before signing the documents, we agreed on the following: 1) My total and final out of the door cost 2) My then leased car's excess mileage, which was in excess of the allowance 3) A small paint chips on my previous car's back, right-hand side of the bumper. Jason personally went to see the car and told me the chip wouldn't be an issue and Paker several times confirmed that excess mileage wouldn't matter either. In fact, he encouraged me to get the lease because of the same benefit: If I would run in excess, I could just come in and trade-up. I decided to shake hands on one final condition: their team would help me cancel my existing warranty and get the balance of the payment (around $1,300), which I had already paid . Its been a month since the deal and instead of getting my $1,300 back, I owe Hyundai leasing around $2,200. I am being charged for canceling my lease 3 months in advance (which the dealership is now willing to pay), disposition ($400), body wear and tear and excess mileage (around $650 together). Parker and Jason never return any calls back. After I finally decided to visit Parker on a Saturday, he assured me that I would get a call back on Monday. I never did. I visited him the following Saturday and the same response. Nothing happened. I then decided to visit their leasing department and retention officer, Mr. Mensah, had no idea what I was talking about. Long story short, its been five months, I still haven't heard back personally from Parker or Mr. Jason Blodgett. They are denying any conversation regarding mileage or wear and tear, and i still owe Hyundai money. I honestly feel swindled. I would not want any friend of mine to deal with this dealership. Total mess. More
