I brought my mustang gt in for warranty service at Ford of Kirkland about a year ago and had a very positive experience working with Kevin Paddock. He was very informative and spent a good deal of time wit of Kirkland about a year ago and had a very positive experience working with Kevin Paddock. He was very informative and spent a good deal of time with me checking out the entire car and diagnosing the possible cause of the problem. He called me several hours later to explain that his team thinks they know the cause of the charging system issue and asked if they could test it overnight. I agreed and picked up the car the next day with the problem correctly diagnosed and the long persistent problem finally resolved. Because of that positive experience, I started having my wife's explorer serviced by Kevin and his team. Again, with positive results. Kevin worked with me to find replacement tires for the explorer to meet my needs and at a very competitive price. Kevin always takes the time to explain the work that was performed on the vehicle and is always willing to answer any questions I have. In the past, I have not had particularly good experiences at dealerships. Kevin and Ford of Kirkland have earned my business to date. CJones More

Marilyn and I have purchased three new cars from Ford of Kirkland in the last few years. The main reason for this is your support in the Service Department. Our recent major repair on the Windstar is an example of your special effort to get the job done right the first time, at the best price possible. Thank you, Kevin, for a job well done. We will continue to use your services. More

I own a '99 Ford Ranger which I purchased new. It has been a great reliable vehicle and had over 100K miles when I passed it along to my son when he started drive in 2008. When it had a problem a few years later I was tied up with business so I sent my wife and son in to Kevin Paddock at Ford of Kirkland to have it looked into and repaired. I trusted Kevin as I knew he would take care of my family and do what was right at a reasonable price. As time has gone along and I've needed any work done on it I send it in to Kevin and Ford of Kirkland. The truck still runs great and as my son goes off to college it will be passed on to his sister who just got her license. Keith Wilson (Kirkland, WA) More
I purchased a '97 Expedition from another dealer but live in Kirkland, so Ford of Kirkland is close by. Kevin Paddock is my service rep and has always taken great care of me. I have taken my Ranger in for service with Kevin Paddock even though it was purchased at a different dealer. The quality of work was excellent, on time and on budget. Gordon was great to work with. He was flexible with our payment requirements. He was especially helpful after the sale in helping locate the previous owner of car so I could get my hands on the maintenanc payment requirements. I'm really disappointed and frustrated with Ford of Kirkland "AFTER the sale" support. I've been waiting for a check from Ford of Kirkland for the difference of $2878.73 from a $10,000 check I gave Kirkland "AFTER the sale" support. I've been waiting for a check from Ford of Kirkland for the difference of $2878.73 from a $10,000 check I gave to Wally Baily on FRIDAY July 2nd for payment of $7121.27 on a 2005 Hyundai accent Stock# P4612. I signed the back of the check, pay to the order of Ford of Kirkland Tuesday July 6th 2010 after signing a Ford of Kirkland Rescission agreement, "Lower price per Wally Baily" and signing a new sales contract dated June 29th, 2010. (Signed July 6th 2010). After numerous phone calls to Ford of kirkland to both Kyle and Mr Potts the finance director I still am very frustrated. It is now Thursday 7/22/2010 6:25 pm and I still have not received the call to pick up the check as promised. I talked to Mr Potts earlier today and he said he would look into it and call me back in about 15 minutes, That was around noon and he still has not called me back. Earlier in the month, I was told by the finance manager Kyle Joswick at the time I signed the check over to F.O.K. that I could expect to pick up the difference refund check of $2878.73 on the following Tuesday July the 6th right after the 4th of July holiday. I am a repeat customer. Last year I purchased a 2009 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. That transaction went very well, All 5 stars. History, On Tuesday June 29, 2010, I came back to FOK looking for another used 2nd vehicle (possible Ford Escape) so I would not be putting so many miles on my new Ranger. I average anywhere from about 40-60 or more miles a day. I drive to Boeing Everett from north Seattle and to Bellevue and back several times a week. Greg Hartshorne recognized me from last years Ford Ranger sale after I walked in the dealership show room. I explained what I might be looking for and he hooked me up with Kyle Corn. Kyle walked me out to the lot and we discussed options. We happened to walk past a 2005 Hyundai Accent that caught my eye. Stock # P4612 I became interested in this Hyundai and we started going through the process of checking the vehicle out. The vehicle had been extremely well detailed, Very clean and nice looking. It did have 2 door dings, One on the passenger and one on the drivers side. It was the color I was interested in, Dull drab gray inside and out, Boring eh? We went for a test drive and I decided I liked the vehicle. Kyle and I went back to the show room and worked some numbers. I explained I had a check coming from my Boeing V.I.P. investment savings account at the end of the work week Via FedEX. The vehicle was sticker priced at $7,975 this appears to be a "generic price" for this year make and model vehicle. I talked with Kyle and we started the "dickering process". Also met and talked with the general sales Manager Wallie Bailey. A price of $8,000 including tax and license out the door was discussed and I felt this was workable. They drew up the necessary paper work and I signed the contract, $8,000 out the door. Kyle stated that they would hold the car and store it in the back until My check arrives on Friday. I was good with that. *Legally the car was not mine yet because I did not "take delivery" of the vehicle (drive it off the lot after signing the contract). Meanwhile while waiting for my check, I checked around the internet about this vehicle (after the fact) and found very favorable reviews. I also looked at the prices at other dealership websites and on kelly blue book and the price listed on KBB was close a grand lower than what I expected. This is in "excellent condition", which I felt this car is in. My check arrived Friday, I before I went back to FOK I bought a local paper and looked at the pre "4th of july" FOK car ad in the paper and saw 4 brand new Hyundai accents for under $10K. I went to FOK and talked with Wally and asked what was the possibility of canceling the contract for the used Hyundai I signed but did not take delivery of and buy one of the NEW Hyundai's advertised in the paper, I brought the ad with me and showed him. Wally stated that it was possible, He did the figures, deducted the military and college incentives from the ads list of discounts and came up with a figure of about $11,300 out the door. I showed Wally the 10K check i just received, I had $1,000 cash in my pocket and the remaining $300 would come from my checking debit card. I stated it would put me in the "red" financially for awhile. I felt this may be a better deal getting a NEW Hyundai instead of a used one with 67,530 miles on it. Wally directed me towards the New Hyundai lot, I met another salesman and we discussed the cars listed in the ad. I was shown a dark gray 2010 Hyundai and liked it. I was ready to proceed with purchasing the vehicle when Wally came over and wanted me to come back to the showroom I originally came from and talk. He asked me "what could he do to sell me the 05 Hyundai that I had been interested in". I stated what the KBB value was on the 05 and he went and did some research, He came back with a new $$$ number lower than what was previously agreed on, I showed him my $$$ number and we came to an agreement, Both his and my numbers were very close. $6365.00 for a total of $7121.27 out the door, a difference of $878.73. I accepted it and we shook hands. I signed the rescission agreement and the new contract and drove the vehicle off the lot. Just waiting for the balance of $2878.73 from the $10,000 check I gave them to be delivered and the contract will be complete. Ford of Kirkland, it's in your ballpark... BTW, I was not made aware of any 10 day waiting period policy for the check to clear until numerous phone calls later...after the fact. More
I will NEVER buy another car from this dealership - repeat business, not from me. They sold me a car that they don't know how to service. What's the big deal, you ask? Well, the car has issues - the repeat business, not from me. They sold me a car that they don't know how to service. What's the big deal, you ask? Well, the car has issues - the alignment is completely whacked & needs two new front tires, the right headlight doesn't work & didn't when I purchased the car (a $280-$500 fix), the car stopped running after one week of owning. I called them to discuss and was told to bring it back in (reluctantly). What did they do - well, the finance manager drove it around and claimed it was fine. She runs finance not service - what does she know? Did they even look at the headlight issue or the engine problem? Nope - cause she drove it and said it was fine. And when I decided that I would just have to eat it and pay for the headlight - I was told by service that the Toyota dealership would need to make the repair as FOK doesn't know how to maintenance a Prius. You sold me the car - you don't know how to maintenance it? Are you kidding? Why sell a car if you can't even make the minor repairs? How do I know what kind of problems exist from the get go if you can't even check it out for the basics? I've owned the car for three months and am very disappointed. NEVER EVER again. And you know what, I've now told my story to all of you as well as all of my friends and several other review sites. Maybe this will stop someone else from making the same mistake that I did. Pay the $$ to have the car inspected prior to buying - especially from Ford of Kirkland. More
