Got a nice vehicle at a fair price here, but had a disappointing moment at the end with a surprise expense to us. This, and the response by the used car manager, mean four stars instead of five. We found ourselves needing to replace a totaled Ford Escape with only the cash from the insurance settlement available. We found several potentials around the area via the internet, with two being at this dealership. Jimmy Davidson responded fairly quickly to my inquiries. We stopped by and after waiting a bit had Raleigh show us both vehicles. One had issues I didn't like, but the other was solid. He understood our cash situation and worked out the best numbers – good, but beyond our scope by a few hundred dollars. We left to check out others on our list, discussed the situation, decided to forego some other expenses for a month or two, and went back to Ford Kirkland and the 2005 Escape we liked. Raleigh was cordial, helpful, and very knowledgeable about Ford. As a cash deal the paperwork was pretty simple, handled fairly quickly, and finally I was handed the key … yep, only one set. I asked for an additional key to be made and was told they didn’t have one and “that’s the way it is sometimes” and, “you can get one made easily.” The next day we stopped by another dealer nearer our house and found that it wasn’t so easy and it would be pretty expensive (especially when one is under-employed) at $140. That dealer was pretty surprised that Ford of Kirkland didn’t provide a second key. I let Ford of Kirkland know I’d be posting a generally positive internet review except for the last minute surprise. The used car sales manager called quite upset with me for making an issue over a small thing like a key. After a bit of talking he offered to at least see if his service department would at least give me a break on a new key and said he’d call back the next morning. No call back yet after more than a week. [FOLLOW-UP: Yvette, the dealer Customer Service Manager followed up this review and arranged for a second key to be made. Her contact was very cordial and gracious. Bumped our rating for the dealer to a 5] So … we got a nice Escape in good condition at a decent price, but Ford of Kirkland dropped the ball at the end; and in the follow-up. We’d suggest that you make sure the used car department shows you all the keys before you sign off. More
This is the WORST dealership I have ever worked with. They pulled two switch's on me, 1- charged me more for a used car then a new one would have cost. Told me the used one was a better deal, found out later they had lied 2- Scammed me into a higher interest then I had been per-approved for. Told me a lie that the bank that had per-approved me would only do so under different circumstances. Cost me a full 1% 3- Never did the work they promised in the contract to do. I have asked several times and have forwared on to the State Attorney General. Never under and circumstances do any business with this company More

I have purchased many new and used vehicles in the past and Ford of Kirkland was one of the best dealers I have ever worked with. Even though I do not have very good credit and owed more than desirable amo and Ford of Kirkland was one of the best dealers I have ever worked with. Even though I do not have very good credit and owed more than desirable amount on my trade in they still worked with me and got me an amazing deal on the Mustang Convertible that I wanted. They went above and beyond while being very friendly with now pressure. They made me feel very comfortable and let me drive as many different vehicles as I wanted before allowing be to decide which I liked best. It was a great experience and although I do not plan on trading in my new Mustang any time soon I would definitely recommend and return to their dealership. He made sure that he had a truck within budget on the lot and that I would get a reasonable amount on my trade-in before I visited. Once I got there, the rest of the process was super smooth. There were no unexpected surprises, other than being offered a higher amount for my trade-in than expected when I sat down with finance to finish everything up. I would recommend Ford of Kirkland in a second over any other dealer I've worked with in the Seattle area. More
