I had a FANTASTIC experience with Cherokee Hyundai of Kennesaw and ended up buying my brand new Hyundai Sonata from them without hesitation. This was my first car purchase on my own, so my dad had equipped me with a veritable laundry list of requirements the potential dealership needed to meet before I set foot on a lot. After speaking to about five different dealerships, playing them off one another and arming myself with more car lingo than I ever thought I'd be able to throw around like an old pro (not an inexperienced new car buyer), I'd narrowed it down to Cherokee and one other dealer. After I told the GM of Cherokee the other dealer's offer, he said without hesitation "We can beat that," and I knew I'd found my dealership. I walked onto the lot Friday afternoon with my posse in tow for moral support (ie one of my coworkers, who's quite familiar with the automobile world), and we met Cherokee's manager Anthony who handed us off to his salesman Leslie to find my car. Leslie was just the greatest - if you go out to Cherokee - ask for him!! He was completely relaxed and no pressure about the whole deal- he explained the differences between the packages on the cars, took me on a test drive, showed me all the features the car came with and answered all of my questions. And when we got down to the paperwork, he was very efficient with that as well. Everything was clearly explained and laid out as I signed more documents than ever before, and their finance manager Scott answered all my additional finance questions concerning gap insurance and different financing rates. After I finished the paperwork, Leslie took me to meet the service manager Ray and told me all about the free first year service from Cherokee and the warranties provided by Hyundai. The exact car I wanted wasn't on the lot that afternoon, but by the next morning they'd located a car and brought it to the dealership and it was ready for pick up. Another friend was kind enough to drive me up to the dealership where I met Leslie again. He helped me sync my phone to the car's Bluetooth, explained the cool satellite radio, SOS system and OnStar options and showed me the guts of the car under the hood (which I won't have to do anything with, but still want to be able to identify - more of Dad's requirement than mine). And did I mention it had a red balloon attached to the door? Well, it did - that just made the sale. The whole process was about as quick and painless as could have been expected - Leslie gave me exceptional service and everyone I interacted with at the dealership was supremely friendly and professional. It was just a great first buying experience and if I could give this place six stars, I would. Please, please, please consider giving your business to Cherokee Hyundai of Kennesaw - you won't be disappointed. More

I dropped my brand new Hyundai off to have an option installed by the service department. The service rep was great and very professional, I had arranged to get another car while mine was being serviced installed by the service department. I had to wait for someone from the rental car place to come pick me up and take me back to office to do the paperwork for the car, okay no big deal I didn't have to wait that long. Then I get in the car with the driver and the ordeal started. I was just about in fear for my life the way this guy was driving, not necessarily fast, but all over the road into other lanes, etc. Then we get to the rental office, and only one guy is working behind the counter, had to wait way too long to get the car, then I have to give my credit card for a deposit. I thought this was supposed to be a loaner car? I return the car to the dealership as instructed after my service was complete and then a couple days later I noticed a $38 charge on my credit card. Some loaner car program!! UPDATE: The dealer without any prompting from me (other than this review) sent me a check refunding my $38. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. In hindsight it probably was not the dealerships fault as much as the rental car company. Maybe they should look at partnering with a different company. At any rate I would definitely reccomend Cherokee Hyundai to anyone interested in buying a car! More

I highly reccomend Cherokee Hyundai and Jimmie Bracken. Jimmie was very professional, listened to what I wanted and was not at all pushy. The dealership honored my price from USAA car buying service wihout any questions and when they didn't have the exact car I wanted, they went out and found one for me and I picked it up the next day. This was by far the best experience I have had buying a car. More
