My check in was fine due to Gene. I bought my 2020 Buick Encore on 12/23 trading my Hyundai Tucson. I needed an oil change but you had to order a part from a Buick dealer. I unders I bought my 2020 Buick Encore on 12/23 trading my Hyundai Tucson. I needed an oil change but you had to order a part from a Buick dealer. I understand & Gene was able to promise me a free oil change since I was promised that when I bought my Buick. HOWEVER it would take another appt (no problem) & I’d have to wait again for another 1. 1/2 hour or more!. I purchased an extended warranty of 90,000 miles. My Buick had 20,000!when I bought it & now has 24,000. May as well go to a Buick dealer & avoid the crowded parking lot (It isn’t even season yet!). I live here year round. It isn’t worth the hassle. Why do you sell other pre-owned vehicles? I have a plugged squirter on my windshield wipers & Gene was kind enough to waive the $190 inspection fee to fix it. He said I’d be notified to come back for both the oil change & to unplug my windshield squirter. I haven’t received a call & haven’t had the energy frankly to wait & wonder how long. So….Do I give Hyundai of Ft Myers another chance or go to a Buick dealer. The only reason I traded in my 2012 Tucson which I loved & never had a problem, in fact just replaced the brakes & got new tires in 2023. But…I got a recall notice that said the car could start on fire due to an antilock brake problem. Really? It could be parked in my garage while we went away in January 2024 & burn down our house? Or I should park it outside for 2 weeks? So I looked at other Hyundai models & fell in love with my 2020 Buick Encore GX. Hope this helps. I’ll wait to hear from you. By the way Anthony in sales is wonderful & helpful!!! More
I brought in my 2023 Elantra hybrid blue on June 11th and received a call on June 12th that the issue I was experiencing on my barely 2 year old vehicle was related to the battery. No biggie right since the received a call on June 12th that the issue I was experiencing on my barely 2 year old vehicle was related to the battery. No biggie right since the battery is under warranty. They told they’ll replace it for free. Awesome. Then they told me the battery is on back order and that they wouldn’t have an estimate as to when I’d get my car back. Which is quite infuriating. And yes, they have a loaners car but through Enterprise which has been a whole different mess. What makes matter worse is that the dealership has not been answering my calls. I’ve been trying and trying to get an answer from both the service department and my service advisor. I’ve only gotten updates days whenever I physically show up to the dealership. Yet even when I do show up I don’t get any answers. BUT they have enough time and effort to call me about selling my car for a fraction of what it’s worth. If we’re going to be honest it was more like they were tying to pressure me into buying a new car. It was to the point where I have received a phone call from a sales representative about how they saw my beautiful car on the lot and they have someone who wants that exact car. Typical right? Who wants a car without a functioning battery that is supposedly on back order. It’s to the point where I actually don’t believe my car has been looked at or the battery hasn’t even been ordered. At this rate I’ve contacted other hyundai dealerships in florida that have had the decency to answer my calls and are willing to work with me. I’m going in tomorrow morning to deal with matter more. I want my car back working or not. I’ve had enough. More
