I signed documents on OCTOBER 26, 2024, for a 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML350. The engine light was on and the sales rep Tyler Lewis insisted and swore up and down that it was just for an oxygen sensor, and Mercedes-Benz ML350. Fast forward to today, DECEMBER 1ST! I STILL don't have the car back. I drove it a total of about 40 miles on my own time, the rest of the miles were going back to the dealership as the engine light continued to come on for various reasons. The dealer replaced the low pressure fuel pump and when I got the car back, I filled it up with gas. There is now an unbelievable gas smell in and outside the vehicle. As unsafe as this was, the sales manager made me drive the car back to them (43 miles) while it was leaking fuel somewhere. Their attempt to fix THIS issue made the car worse. Now, for several other engine light codes, I am in a loaner vehicle and I am STILL WAITING for car I signed the documents for almost 6 WEEKS AGO! I am only glad that I made sure they put in writing that they would repair the vehicle to full, correct operating condition. I am about to make my 1st payment (45 days after signing) and I am still driving a car that I didn't buy. I tried to reach my sales rep for status but his response was that he's no longer involved and that I need to work with management. I sold cars once and NEVER did I turn my customers away when they needed my help. They put the cart before the horse, and they were dishonest about the vehicle's condition at the time of sale and delivery. More
Service advisor was very patient when he was told I had a coupon that he wasn't aware of. We found the guy who took it when I made the appointment and he stoll had it. Even after my car is affected by a major recall,they have the audacity to tell me they will try to scan for a code and if there "no code" they will not fix.The young girl working at service as an "advis have the audacity to tell me they will try to scan for a code and if there "no code" they will not fix.The young girl working at service as an "advisor",tried to convince me and made me believe about this ,but she kept on blinking her eyes as she speaks to me ,because she knows i know its all xx. She gave me some papers ,explaining the procedure as if they r serious bout it.and kept on asking me "does that make any sense??" As if I'm an idiot. They taught her how to try to lie. So yea nice try. After 4 hrs in there ,they came up to me saying they will not fix it because no code is shown.and the manager told me in my face he's not gonna spend over $1000 on parts and labor just because I want. Seriously???!!! We r talking about a safety issue here. Even Hyundai of America asked me not do drive my car. My car has been parked for over 5 months waiting for this recall fix ,and this ain't right. I will deal with Hyundai of america once I get back from my vacation More
